At my son's school we have a little 007, James Bond that is.

We were a little shaken, but not stired at his name.

Figaro

An old friend's first grandson was named Justin Case.

Disney Doll I say that one to on Sunday. I posted that on another threat but I guess it got deleted. It says I am not allowed to view it anymore.

On the lighter side my fathers cousin named his boys Pierce and Hunter, not bad now but strange in the 70"s

I've always been one to make up names, and know what I'd love to name my daughter, if I ever have one. :) It would be Decirace (pronounced Deck-er-es). I hate using common names whenever I write stories...so I make them up. That one I came up with last year. Though I came up with Falonia (pronounced as it looks) when I was in 4th grade.

As for names that have already been given (;))...I dislike my first name: Marea. It's pronounced like Maria...but the spelling makes it hard for people to figure out how to say it. I've heard them pronounce it like: Marie, Mara, Mary, Mariah....

My youngest aunt has the name Dionne (pronounced Die-own instead of Dee-on). One pf my cousins has the name Teisha (pronounced Tea-sha), another Taleya (Ta-lee-yah).

Crystal Shanda Leer
I think I knew someone with that name... Or at least knew someone who knew someone with that name...lol

Some of these are hilarious!:teeth:

My cousin named his only child Hamlet.

DH went to school with a Snow White. :teeth:

There was a family with the last name "Baer" in our town. They had a son named Teddy and a daughter named Panda.

There was also a girl named Miracle where I used to teach.

Perhaps Charisma was named after Charisma Carpenter the actress from Angel?

In high school there was a boy named Robert Roberts.

I had a teacher who's son was Clark Kent. And this was right at the height of those 80's Superman movies.

There is a girl in the school where I teach. Last name Colon, first name Lovely. I sort of chuckle when I have to call her name. She really is a Lovely girl though.

Had I ever seen the show I might have known. Interesting name for a child, probably will sound better as an adult.

Oh my....some real doozies from where I come from. Daughter's first grade teacher---Mrs. Tiddy. The town jeweler---Mr. Snoddy. (He had 3 sons who later changed their last name.) My mom's senior English teacher---Ophelia Butt (At least this was her married name.....her parents didn't do it!) Man at our church---Harry Cox. (All his male friends called him "Fuzz".) Four of my great aunts---Virsa, Eldren, Creta and Asalene. (I didn't borrow any of those when I named my daughter!) :sunny:
