I think that is really cool that you get to check out New Orleans as well as go to Disney. It makes the trip more magical for her for the 'extra' surprise. LOL.

Hi all,

As you know it is tough getting back and getting into the swing of things!! Why can't everyday be a day at Disney World and Give Kids the World.

We had a MAGICAL time for sure!! I have tons of pictures to share. I just downloaded all the pictures and the computer says we took 978 pictures!!

I need to catch up on work stuff (final grades are due ), but as soon as that is done I will be back to share all the magic with you!!

I am thinking I will be back Sunday. Thanks so much for all the well wishes while we were gone. And THANKS for all the Big Give stuff!! They made a Magical trip even more special, as Mallory stood out everywhere she went in her awesome wardrobe.

This is how we started every morning!!!

This is Mallory on Sea World day!! Minnie and Mickey came to Give Kids the World for a private photo session with all the wish kids!!

This is Mallory and Miss Merry at the Pirate and Princess Party!! Since we stayed the extra day we were able to go to this SUPER party!!

Mike and his favorite ride at Island of adventure... The Hulk Roller Coaster!!

This is our last day!! We spent the morning at GKTW and flew home in the afternoon.

I just noticed she doesn't have her usual big smile in some these!! Well I guess after taking 978 pictures you get sick of smiling!! Rest assured she was her happy self and had a WONDERFUL time!!!!

Well I'm not sure about checking out New Orleans, but we did check out the New Orleans airport and the New Orleans Ramanda. Oh yay and we got some yummy New Orleans food!!

Yes it was quite a detour!! We thought about going to Mardi Gras for a minute, it was the 1st night of Mardi Gras!!! But we heard it is not really family friendly!!

Thanks!!! I know the dumbo dress is AWESOME!! We couldn't go 5 feet without someone saying how adorable she looked or what a cute dress it was!! It was perfect for the last day, because she looked so cute it lifted our going home blues!!

you'd be surprised how family friendly New Orleans is....we lived there for 5 weeks years ago in the summer...would go down to Bourbon Street, there were all sorts, crazies, families with kids in their strollers, all sorts of characters...they do have some family Mardi Gras parades and parties.

Family friendly Mardi Gras sounds so FUN!! I will have to put that on my bucket list!!

We didn't try beniots!! I'll have to do that some day!! We did have corn pudding. I hadn't tried that. And we had YUMMY pulled pork!!
