I am back at it again. We are at the fort to celebrate. We arrived on Saturday, Nov 1. Most campsites were still packed but a we did get our requested 700 loop. The only bad thing about our site, 714, it is right by the path to the comfort station. So far the dogs have been pretty good about not barking. We got setup yesterday and took the dogs for a quick walk. Mallory is still a rock star everyone loved her. Quick recap for those who don't know. Mallory is my GSD/great pyr mix with DM. She can't use her back legs and is in a cart. Yeti our great pyr has gotten a lot of attention as well.

Saturday night we met some friends and drank around the monorail. Was a great time. We were not in the MK for the fire. We did go near MK and it did look pretty crowded. Got in late and it was a chilly one. Good thing the heat works in the rig. OMG I forgot about the drive in. Was brutal with the winds. Hubby did a great job and I just squeezed the handle next to me.

This morning we took the dogs for a walk about 10 am. I was quite surprised how many people seemed to be staying but then we hit the main road at 10:40 and it was a mass exodus. Later in the afternoon I went for a run, so lots of empty spaces but quite a few coming in. We will walk the dogs again and see how it looks. Tonight we had for a special dinner and tomorrow is Epcot to celebrate hubby's 40th bday at the food ans wine festival.

Glad to hear Mallory is getting another round of relaxing Fort time. I bet it stays pretty busy next to that path, somehow I don't think I would like that many people walking right up next to my site everyday.

Might scare off my squirrels...

Saturday night we met some friends and drank around the monorail. Was a great time.

Whoa, wait. Tell me how this game works.

Is it the express monorail, the resort monorail, or does it matter? Does everyone have to drink every time they hear, "Please stand clear of the doors...."? Do you do it for so many laps or elapsed time? Do you have to take a drink every time you see a guy out the window wearing a Goofy hat/ears? What is the designated beverage for this game? Can one stop at one of the resorts if one gets the munchies and then get back on a monorail to keep playing?

How does one get back to the Fort after playing this game? (I hope someone else like a bus driver is driving).

:cake: Happy Birthday to DH. Food and Wine Festival at Epcot is not a bad way to celebrate.

Cool start to your trip. Have fun! :woohoo:

Bama Ed

Bama Ed you are a riot, can't wait to meet you in Jan.

I am sure there are many ways to play the game. We took the fun but not over the top method. We started with a boat ride to WL for a drink and soup at Territory Lounge. Made it a point to have one drink as we knew this was a drink at every stop situation. Wanted to have fun and not be completely out of control. Next the group wanted to boat to Contemporary but that boat just left so hopped on the MK boat and walked there. It was good idea gave us some processing time. Went to California Grill's bar. Had a glass of wine. Now we jumped the monorail to Poly. Had some more food and a signature backscratcher. Then off to GF. Here I thought maybe we would have two drinks but last call came and we all thought better of it, plus still had first drink a Moscow mule. Then monorail to MK and boat back to the fort. We were lucky MK was open late. It was a fun time and took about 5 hours and four drinks so no one was out of control but had just enough antifreeze for the cold evening.

Tigger dada, we are still getting squirrels here. Yeti treed one. He barked a lot at it and boy did that squirrel give it back. Not sure how many more will come visit our site.

Hoping for a beautiful day today should warm up a little. Off to Epcot for food and wine.

My DD13 loves to see pictures of Mallory. (hint hint) I'm glad you're having a great time! :wave2:

Tina I love posting pics of my girl. First the dogs had a great time this morning playing in the dog park. Lots of energetic dogs. Mallory even played. It was so much fun and they were so tired out. I think they slept the whole time we were at Epcot.

We enjoyed the festival. It was crowded at Epcot. Lines for the headliners were about 90 minutes. A lot of the kiosks had long lines. We managed though. I will say I was disappointed with only offering the small beer size. I did not think it would but it did. We got around that by getting beer at the normal Germany beer stand. My favorites of the festival food wise so far is the beef slider with pimento cheese at hops and barley and the potato and leek waffle at Belgium.

We had some friends come over to the site and we chatted and played with the dogs. Next we went to trail' send for dinner. We got out just in time to go to the beach and watch Wishes. It was pretty cool and not many were out for the fireworks. Then back to the rig. I really need some sleep, but think it will be after the EWP. In loop 700 it is rather loud.

Beautiful pups. Happy 40th to DH. Enjoying the TR.

Mallory looks as though her condition does not faze her. She looks happy as can be. Yeti on the other hand looks as though they are annoyed by having their picture taken. I'm the same way...

Thanks for the pics as usual, my daughters also like seeing them so continue on.

Thanks, they are adorable! It's funny how much you can see their personalities on their faces!

I have an action shot for you. Yesterday and today there was a very energetic standard poodle who loved to play. Her name is Ali. She is in the bottom left of the pic. The dogs had so much fun playing with her. Funny the were supposed to leave today. On our walk home from MK today, we saw Ali's golf cart. Ali did not want to leave her new friends so they came back. It means more dog fun tomorrow!

I had a nice 4 mile run this morning. The dogs had a energetic romp. We then hit MK. Managed to do quite a lot. FP for Space, BTMRR, 7DMT. We also did people mover and philharmagic. Got a huge ice cream sandwich cookie from the parlor and had excellent seats for the FoF parade. Next dinner at Blue Zoo and illuminations.

After all the cool weather it is beautiful out. I would like to sit out with the dogs and drink my coffee, but DH is not up yet. I can't get Mallory out of the rig myself and no one will be happy if I go outside alone. Hopefully the smell of coffee will wake him and we can sit outside. Today we are going to AK and hopefully the outlet malls.

Dinner last night at Blue Zoo was interesting. It was good but DH's dish was way too salty. We are not complainers but we did mention it. I love salt but it was even too much for me. They were nice and comped his after dinner drink. The service was excellent and my sea bass was perfect. Actually DH said his tuna was awesome but the sauce was too salty. We will be back plus the have an expansive wine list.

This is how I found the doggies this morning. Thought it was cute. They are sleeping on a memory foam twin bed topper. Normally it is on top of mal's bed but I thought it might be easier in the rig to just lay it at the foot of the bed. Works out good and yeti has a place to sleep too.

We have border collie/beagle mix 6 month old puppies who are sisters. This is not them but it looks just like them and there are two! They are wild this morning. Your dogs look nice and peaceful.

Yesterday we changed our plans. It became a dog day. We spent two hours at the dog park in the morning playing with Ali and some others. The dogs had so much fun and were super tired. The plan was to go to AK but I wanted to hit the outlet malls. The best was I got what I was looking for. We wanted plastic Mickey wine glasses. We found them and cheap. Also got a few other things for the rig so it was a worth while trip.

We had another doggie play date at 4. Spent another hour at the park. After that we saw the Frozen holiday wish. It was difficult to see the stage so I suggest getting there early if you want to see Anna and Elsa. Olaf is there too but he will start at the top so everyone can see him. The show was cut and the castle looks terrific. It is the best overlay they have done.

Next we went to Mizner's lounge for dinner. We had the mussels and they were great. They came in a tomato garlic sauce with just a little kick.

Then we went back to the rig and sat outside with the dogs. We listened to the EWP.

Overall it was a good day. Am planning on a run, then dog park again and back to Epcot.

After 3 hours of playing yesterday the dogs were tired today. We still went to the dog park though. Seems everyone was tired . Ali is under the table and the golden is Tyson.

We went to Epcot for more food booths. It was warm so back at the campground. Dinner tonight is artist point.

The day starts as usual with a trip to the dog park. Ali, Tyson, Doc, Indie and Meka were there. Meka was a new golden to the mix. Dogs played as usual.everyone is young except mal and yeti. She definitely played but yeti only partook in a little playing. The other dogs are about 2 and have more energy. Mal hangs as best she can. After 1.5 hours we said goodbye to all our doggie friends, then went to DHS. Did FP for ToT and then TSMM. Tried to have lunch at the brown derby bar but it was packed. We had 2 hours before our FP for Frozen sing a long so we walked to big river grill. Had lunch and then back to DHS. I love Frozen and I love the sing a long.

Then we started packing up. Had dinner at trails end and walked the dogs. Sitting outside enjoying some wine. Trying to decide if we will head to the beach to see the holiday wishes. Hoping to be out early tomorrow. We are still new to the rv thing so breakdown takes a while and we are still working our routine to be efficient. Hoping we are better tomorrow.
