Maleficent & Pocahontas

Has Maleficent been in the parks at all since Halloween?

Has anyone seen Pocahontas there any time recently? My DD6 REALLY wants to meet her and was bummed she didn't 2 years ago, but I don't think she's really ever there, is she?

Pocahontas has been at 2 of the Long Lost Friends "rare character" events, which makes me think that she's not a regular character. She is in Mickey and the Magical Map, but doesn't do greets. Meeko is usually at Storytellers for breakfast, but that's about it for meeting a character from that movie.

Maleficent isn't one of the villains that are around outside of Halloween time, but she is in Fantasmic.

We last saw Pocahontas at CHOC Walk. She does not seem to be a regular character in the park.

No, neither are out. It's not fair...Maleficent should be out around her castle...WDW gets the Tremaines around Cindy's castle...why can't we have our villains????

I don't think the Tremaine's are regulars around the castle anymore. I haven't seen them there in my last few trips and they're no longer listed as being in MK on Kenny the Pirate's site.

Yes, sorry, OP, I haven't seen Maleficent or Pocahontas in the parks as a meet & greet character in a while (outside of HallowenTime or Long Lost Friends).

Well, and with Maleficent being a hit movie this summer and just recently on Blu Ray/DVD you'd think they'd want to milk that for all its worth. Boo

I figured Pocahontas was a long shot. I don't know why my DD wants to meet her so badly, probably just because she hasn't and she's met pretty much everyone else!

OUr local high school drama department put on the disney pocahontas play. Now my daughter is obsessed with pocahontas and was even her for halloween. Bummer we won't be seeing her on our trip.

The only place I have seen either of these are during Fantasmic. Pocahontas is on Steamboat Willy.

They actually did have a movie version of the character this summer. The one I saw was pretty convincing, and she even did the voice very well. It was a little weird interacting with someone who was pretending to be a famous person playing a character.

I don't see it this way, I just see it as a person playing a character.

The Tremaines were part of the long lost friends back in January when I was there for the Tink Half, but I haven't seen them on my trips in 2013 or 2012.
