Making too much of a fuss?

I booked our Nov stay on April 12. It is a part cash/part points reservation at SSR. I was given 2 different conf#'s for each part of the ressie. In the past when we did this, I got 2 different confirmation letters(in separate envelopes)in the mail the following week. I never received the cash conf. letter. I called MS now a total of 4 times and am always told "I'll reprint it again". Never gets to me and no my address hasn't changed :) One CM even tried unlinking the reservations and asking for a reprint and then relinking. If they were linked wouldn't you think that at least the point reservation would get to me?
So my question after all this is has anyone else had this experience and would you be worried about not having hard copy proof of your ressie?
I have the conf#, but I like having all my travel documents in hand.

I have always had the doucments in hand at check in(that's me-and it might be you), but I think if you had your confirmation number, I am sure that it would be fine...trust me...they will find you a room if you have paid cash(or CC- I hope). ALso with the CC you always have recourse. I wouldn't worry, but I would ask one more time(could you get it faxed to you somewhere?)
 
it may have something to do with the linking...

do you have access to a fax machine - maybe they could fax the DVC point reservation to you?
 
I wouldn't worry too much about, it will either turn up or goodness knows I never carry my documents, but I again I do like to live life on the wild side!! :rotfl2: Maybe a supervisor can fax you a copy !! Good luck!
 

Thanks to you all for the suggestion about faxing. I had never thought of that. I'll try that tomorrow.
 
I would keep calling and try and get a copy. Personally, I like to have the paper in my hand when I check in. ;) Makes me feel better. :blush: For my upcoming vacation, one of my confirmation letters was missing the "dining plan has been purchased" line. I was afraid when I checked in, they would not know I had purchased it, and would not let me add it to my stay! So, they did send me a new copy. So....keep trying...... :rolleyes:
 
I called MS today and CM told me they are now aware that there is a problem with the system printing info for linked cash/points reservations. Asked if she could print in her office and fax. She said no. They request a printout and she thinks it goes to office in another part of the state. She checked with supervisor about emailing me a copy, but because my stay isn't til Nov they can't. Apparently they only do that within 10 days of arrival. My only option is to continue to call and see if anything has changed. Figured I'd let others know.
