Just wondering if anyone has made a shipboard credit for family/friends who were traveling on DCL. We'll be traveling with a group, including my parents, and thought it would be nice to give them a credit as a gift (Christmas, Mothers/Fathers Day etc) so that they have some fun money when we sail. I found a number to call but wanted to see if anyone has experience with this.

I have done this in the past for family and friends and the shipboard credit was very much appreciated, especially since they spent more $$ than they thought they were going to spend, which is very easy to do, LOL!!!

We have done this for ourselves, lol. It works out great. Very easy to do, just call and thell them you want to make a shipboard credit. I had to give them my ressie number so they could look me up.

For us, we estimate approx how much spa, drinks, souveniers on ship/CC, etc and then add a bit..lol, and give ourselves a credit before we go. That way we don't have to worry about anything on the ship.

Thanks for the info. I think it will be great since we never know what to buy them. So all I need is the ressie number? Is there a minimum amt you have to spend?

Yes, I believe the minimum is still $25.00

Since we are going to be on the ship for 14 days, I have been putting money on our ship board account since our cruise has been paid off. I don't want a sticker shock when we get off. pirate: princess:
