making reservations on DDP - guests in one party but in sepeate rooms

Hi Everyone...I am planning a trip for next year and it will be myself, DH, DD and DS but we are also traveling with a family friend who will be staying in a seperate room. we will all be on the dining plan. I am wondering how to make ADR's? if I make a reservation for a party of 5 will they just give us seperate checks so my family can pay with our plan and then our friend will get her own check and use her dining plan to pay?

Make your reservations for all of you and when you get to your table, tell your waiter/waitress that you'll be using the DDP for your guests and your friend will be using their own plan!! They'll give you two checks!!
