Making reservations for a minor

My GF's oldest daughter will be graduating from high school next year and I was thinking of sending her and some friends to Disney for a few days, maybe a week, after graduation as a gift.

How would the reservations have to be made? Would I have to put them in my name, or GF's name using a credit card as security and then have GF's daughter pay cash, which we would give her, for the ressie? Or would we have to accompany them during check-in and pay for the ressie with a CC?

Just trying to get some information ahead of time.
