Okay, I'll confess... Ever since I was knee-high, I said I wanted to go to Disney World for my honeymoon. Adorable, right?

By the time I got married... well, I married late (late 30's), we'd just bought a house, money was tight, we didn't get a honeymoon at all. A few years later (this February, actually) we decided we were going to take a vacation, get away, take that belated honeymoon. Mind, I hadn't brought up Disney as a honeymoon, I knew when we started discussing the whole marriage thing that we were paying a mortgage, wasn't doable. HE brought up, "Well, how about Disney World?" :lovestruc

I did the planning... I'd been once before, back in high school on a band trip (bless our director, we marked in the Orange Blossom parade, had a half day in each the Magic Kingdom and Epcot... Busy time of year, we didn't get to see NEAR everything, but fun!), but NO real experience planning a Disney vacation.

So, here I am planning to take my darling husband, who is not terribly fond of children, and with a HUGE distaste for crowds... AND hates standing in line... and I'm taking him to Disney World.

We had a BLAST. First week of February was perfect, short lines, very little we didn't get to do. (Toy Story was impossible.) Other than the fact it was, literally, freezing some days (I've got pictures of icicles on statues), perfect vacation. What did I know about dining reservations? Made none, only had one day we had trouble getting in to a sit-down meal.

We got home. First thing out of hubby's mouth? "When can we go back?"

So, we've got reservations to go back the last week of October. His birthday's in that week, we're doing Mickey's Halloween party that night. I can't wait!
