Making my wife’s magic band go purple

Bump. Trying to avoid a marital disaster here. We are new DVC owners and each have MDE accounts with our DVC membership listed in those accounts. But the tickets for this upcoming trip and our past magic bands are all in my MDE account. How will her MB connect back to her MDE to trigger the "welcome home"?

It seems that since they just added the new colour for AP that the DVC colour is no longer working.
 
She will need to contact MS and create/activate an account. Then link that to her own MDE account.
Finally did this, yesterday.
In anticipation of using the updated MDE/GENIE App, and wanting the DW to have her own Digital "Blue Card" and park ticket access, we established her own individual account. We had a CM give us the Club ID, and she walked us through the process over the phone. The only down side to the call was that, even though my DW's GOLD AP doesn't expire until 1/4/22 and mine had expired 6/12/21, I neglected to update hers when I purchased my renewal certificate and, in the interim, the GOLD AP went away and we had to pay for the new "Sorcerer Pass".
Albeit unpredictable, it would have been nice to know that back in June. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to both receiving the PURPLE "Welcome Home" salutation in 2022!
 

You should have at least paid the renewal price for it, not the price of a new one. If you were charged the "new pass" price, you need to contact them for a refund.

- I meant "new", as in it's no longer the GOLD-AP, but the new designation of "Sorcerer".
I was charged the correct renewal price for the Sorcerer Pass.
I was just bemoaning the fact that I missed my WOO* when renewing back in July.:D

DVC since 2010 and DW has never had her own DVC Website Account. She has an MDE account. Well with our recent add on to BWV, she needed to eSign the eDocs, but the phone # for authentication was a land line that hasn't been used in 12 years.

So we finally got her signed up for her own DVC Website Account. Very easy with DVC QA Dept's help. No wait at all on the phone line. Now all her info is updated. We'll find out in Jan if the turnstile turns purple like it does for me.
 
Try it. But I think if she has her own MDE account it should recognize her as a DVC owner.

I don’t think it’s a big deal if she has a DVC log in.

If she has one,, go into that and see if it’s listed under her affiliations. Be aware, though, that sometimes it doesn’t work to show purple

It is hit or miss at some parks for me!

This. DH has his own membership number but he never made an account. We just use mine. Haven't found a reason to set up his. When we were down for our Welcome Home stay both our ticket media lit up purple, I used key to the world card and he used his phone.

On our stay a few weeks ago our cards didn't but we picked up ticket media at BB and had separate room keys so maybe that's why?
