Making grapes last longer?

Is there any way to store fresh grapes so they'll last more than 48 hours before getting that spider mold or whatever on them? :(

DH finally found a source of organic grapes for me (non-organic make my mouth itch :( ) and picked some up on Monday. They were already bad by Wednesday. :( Since I'm the only one who eats grapes and, even at organic, can only eat a handful or so at a time, they tend to go bad before I can finish them.

Any suggestions?

I rinse grapes and dry them off as best I can and then put them in a ziplock bag with a paper towel in it to absorb excess moisture and store them in the fridge. Then each day I replace the paper towel with a fresh one. Grapes last at least a week this way.

This probably won't help with organic grapes, but I've noticed with the regular ones that they spoil faster after you wash them. So, I just pull out the ones I will eat at one sitting and wash those.

You do keep them in the fridge don't you? That helps some although it sounds like freezing them may be the best answer.

I've tried both the fridge and not in the fridge, and neither way would they last more than 3 days. :(

Are frozen grapes any good once they thaw?

I never let the grapes thaw, I don't think they'd taste too great. I just eat them frozen. They really don't get that hard, kind of like a popsicle.;)
I wash and dry them, then put them on a cookie sheet in the freezer. Once they're hard, I put them in ziploc baggies and just take out a few at a time.
