Yeah for an update!

My girls were the same about having their hair up when we were there. Tink went one step further and insisted on it up in a bun everyday so it didn't even touch her neck.

We liked pizzafari too although for some reason that escapes me at the moment - we didn't eat pizza!

Grammas are great....buying the things we normally would not buy....binoculars is a great idea

I don't blame abby...I hate having my hair down at the parks...just want it up and away fro my face, especially if a little bit warm

The binoculars were not expensive either! I do wish they had a longer strap on them though... they weren't long enough to go over their heads. Luckily they were wearing cargo shorts and had a big pocket to stick them in ~ otherwise they would've had to carry them. Aw, who am I kidding? I'd have had to carry them!

UPDATE HERE!!!

Still Mon., Nov. 26 ~ Animal Kingdom Continued

Finally we are heading into the safari!

WHY do people not get fast passes? The stand by line was soooooooooo long and we just whizzed right up to the front! Oh well… bad for them, good for us.

We loved the safari! We didn’t do it on our first trip because the wait was 8 ½ days and we were rookies and didn’t get there early enough to get fast passes. So this was another first for us. I took lots of pictures on the ride.

So there you have it! We really enjoyed the ride. The boys especially loved all the bumps in the road. Me, not so much! I kept thinking is all this slamming us around business really necessary?!?! I think I am getting old.

After the safari we hopped on the Wildlife Express!

Note: during the ride I am noticing increasing pain in my ankle. I am getting shooting pain up my leg whenever I move my foot. Not good. I decide to put on my happy face and try my best to ignore it. We walked the path to the Conservation Center and I am thinking the whole time it was so much closer last time!

Here is a pic of Evan right inside the building. He thought this guy was cool!

And oh my word! Look who is here!!!!!!!! I was so excited for Abby! She loves Pocahontas! If I had a dollar for every time I read her the book or watched the movie I would be a rich, rich woman!

Evan and Owen got their picture taken with Rafiki.

Then I spot Jiminy Cricket! My mom and I were giddy and the kids were saying, “Who’s that?” OMG… I have failed as a parent! My kids do not know who Jiminy Cricket is! Whatever… you are getting your picture taken with him anyway!

After that I cannot take it anymore… I’m in serious pain so I found a bench while the rest of the fam explored the station.

Hello Grandmother Willow!

Speaking of Grandmother Willow… when is that Pocahontas show again? We check the times guide and decide we should head that way in order to get a seat. On the train ride back I figure out that the reason my ankle is killing me is because during the safari I was digging my feet into the floor to keep from flying off the bus entirely and getting eaten by a lion! I was dreading the hike to Camp Minnie Mickey!

Did you know those flamingos are on an island shaped like Mickey? I learned that from my hidden Mickey's book.

Um, yes, I did know that because I have Uncle John's Hidden Mickey book and I read it cover to cover! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

The pics of the kids are so cute! But, my gosh, I think someone needs to give Pocahontas some fried food or something. What a skinny minnie!
