making crowns at the resorts???

Has anyone heard about making crowns at the resorts for kids?? A friend made them at the CSR in December.

No, I haven't heard about that. My daughter has made many things (picture frames, Christmas ornaments, etc.) at the resorts during their children's activity hours, however, crowns were never an option.

I hope someone here has more info to share with us. I am certainly in need of a new crown.

There is a fairly new thing in some of the gift shops where you create your own crown. These are not free of course but I figure you already know that. Tinkerbells Treasures in MK has a set up where you make them. You chose the crown itself and personalize it with beads, gems, charms, etc. I believe you have to pay for each little thing you put on it but I'm not sure. Maybe your friend got one in the CSR gift shop and made it there. I think the CR has them in their gift shop so maybe they have them in many resort gift shops.

The crowns were at the gift shop in PC and were exactly as skiwee1 explained.

DD had a great time designing hers. You can even add a detachable veil. When you buy them they put all the jewels/pieces you bought into a little pouch that matches the crown color (she got pink). I think DD's was around $20, but she got a lot of pieces. Not a bad deal at all.
