I wasn't going to do this and was just going to let my kids buy the books down in Florida and then I also bought the CM mickey book and though of letting the characters autograph those, but would rather save those for pictures of our trip. So any ideas anybody can give me about making my own books (I will need three), any pictures anyone can show me or any direction anyone can lead me would be appreciated.

Oh - did I mention we leave in a week....... :rotfl:

Since you are leaving in a week I would just bring some blank cardstock for the autograph. I cut most of mine in 3x5 size since my book is 6x6. I did mostly white and off white. For specific characters such as princesses I did their colors. Pale yellow for Belle, pink for Aurora etc...
Make sure you bring something hard to write on like small clipboard.

Check out www.twopeasinabucket.com do a search for soulsistas. They do some great books that they sell on ebay. I'm very sure that a lot of people around here can point you in the right direction. I would post mine but I still haven't figured it out yet. I will try to get DH to help me figure it out this weekend. I did a really cute one for the Incredibles and Mushu, I don't have his autograph yet though.

Good luck and happy hunting. P.S. I will be there in 1 week for the weekend! Scrapbooking convention at the Contempoary!

I made ones before we left out of 6x8 spiralbound scrapbooks. All the pages are blank, heavy cardstock. I had a lot more time to do mine than you do, but I found stickers and clip art of all the characters we might see and dressed up each page so that they could sign their page and when we got home I could put their picture with my kids on each page. It worked out great. Most times we had to stand in such long lines that we had more than enough time to find the right pages. I got a lot of comments from the character handlers on how cute they were. when I was finished I found page protectors so that the pages wouldn't get ruined. :earsgirl: :earboy2: :earsgirl:

Can you tell me where you found page protectors for the 6x8 coil album? And perhaps the make? Thanks,Paula

I also did the 6 x 6 spiral bound albums, which I found at Walmart. We did the ones with the foam cover, they stood up to lots of use. We then bought the 3D stickers at AC Moore when the stickers are 40% off to dress them up. The spiral bound are perfect for also holding the Sharpie!

They are Paper Reflections. I got them from Hobby Lobby for 2.49. I know the exact price because I have a unopened package left over that I keep forgeting to return :rotfl2:

I think that is the brand I just bought at Walmart! (i am in Canada) but I didnt notice any page protectors! Will have to check back again! They just slide on from the side I assume?
Today I did the covers of 2 of them (have 3 to do) and this week I will work on the insides. The idea of making a box or line for the character to sign on was a good one! And I plan to use the opposite page for the photos also!
We leave in 9 days for the Polynesian!! Can't wait!!!

Thanks, Paula:)

yes, they do just slide on from the side. I shouldn't say "just" 'cause sometimes the pages get thick from all the embellishments and it's a tight fit :) Have fun in the "World" I wish we were going too

I got "scrap happy" at the Hobby Lobby sale a couple of weeks ago. I made personalized ones for my boys, and others. A couple I sold on ebay, some I will be giving away. I think they turned out OK...what do you think?? :wave2:

Those are adorable! They are the same type of book that I use. I can't believe you made more than you had too. The two I made took forever.

Honestly, each one only took me about 10-20 minutes! They are all stickers and just tied some ribbon. Thanks for the compliments  :wave2:

Sweet autograph book. I am a huge scrapper and of course I think I need to make my own for my DS. You know how it is. :goodvibes
