We will be back *home* in February and I need some assistance.
I am starting to get tired of our favorite restaurants and need some new ones to try. Our *cast* consists of me and my 11 y/o dd.princess:

We will be staying at POR this trip. We are BIG dinner eaters and prefer All you can eat buffets w/ or w/out characters, but enjoy a good sit down, too. We tried GF Cafe last trip and it was AWESOME. We have been to 1900 PF numerous times and GFC was better in my daughter's eyes. .We do try to do ONE Breakfast buffet. Last trip we went to CM and just didn't feel the love. We need a new breakfast hangout. Maybe CMC???? ever been.

DD (11) loves Epcot and wants to spend a good amount of time at all the countries. We usually have dinner at LCDF, but I need something NEW, KWIM?

This is my list so far....would love t hear what all you suggest.
Will try t get LC, but it always booked up, been trying for 3 yrs to get a seat there.....
TEPPA EDO
SCI-FI
TUTTO ITAILIA
CAPE MAY CAFE
GARDEN GRILL (tried it last month and REALLY enjoyed it)
****ALSO, wuld like to try the POLY LUAU. Do you think it will be in service, first week of Feb???

Call Disney Dining as soon as they open on the first day of your six-month window to get Le Cellier. Breakfast at Cape May Cafe is s good choice. For Epcot dinners I'd suggest Chef's de France, Biergarten, Nine Dragons, & Tutto Italia. Never had a bad meal at any of them.

I finally got LC online at the 190 day mark. First time ever! :cool1:
These are some of my families favorites....we will be trying some new ones this year ;)

Ohana for bkst w/Lilo & Stitch and friends
Tusker House for Bkfst
WCC (did lunch, less antics)
Chef Mickeys (dinner) was okay food-went for characters :)

Check out the review board and some menus to see what you might like!

Ever thought to head over to Trail's End for B/L/D? I hear their buffet is very good (fresh!). It is a boat ride from MK or you could do dinner and then head to the Chip N' Dale campfire and movie. Or, you could do horseback or archery or other things if you break at lunch and want to chill in the afternoon. Might be a change of pace....

For breakfast i would think about doing Ohana.. It is really good and has great character interaction.. It is so much fun. You get to see Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch..

Tutto Italia is very good. I ate there my last trip. It is real Italian... MMMMMM

I have Teppan Edo on my next trip too.. It just sounds so yummy..

Have been to Sci-Fi but not a huge fan. I love 50's prime time and I think that the you little one would really enjoy the atmosphere..
Cape May- Are you going for breakfast or dinner? I have heard lots of good things about dinner but not so much on breakfast.

Ohana for breakfast or dinner is fantastic. Both are family style, but breakfast has characters. Dinner is a must-do for us every trip now!:thumbsup2

CP buffett is also a great option. You are already in MK, which is super convenient for touring.

At Epcot, I would also give Biergarten a try. It's a buffett and has a show.

50's PTC is one of our favs; great comfort food in a cute atmosphere.

Our absolute fav is HDDR; great all you can eat comfort food and slapstick funny show.:rotfl2:

Good luck!:goodvibes

Maybe Boma for breakfast? They have a buffet no characters.

Also, maybe Liberty Tree Tavern might be a good choice for you guys (based on what I can gather from your likes) - it's not buffet, but it is all you can eat.

And, since GF Cafe was so awesome, how come you're not returning there for a meal? If you really liked it, it is worth a repeat.:thumbsup2

If you like Epcot, my vote for a breakfast is Captains Grille in the YC. You can walk through the International Gateway to the YC. It is either buffet or ala carte--you can choose. There are no characters but we found it very quiet and relaxing after spending 8 days in the parks. (We ate there our last morning before getting on ME.) I have heard dinner there is also good, but have never been.

We really enjoyed Biergarten. We also like the Plaza in MK and Kona Cafe in the Poly (had dinner here, but have heard breakfast is good too).

Have a great trip!

We're going in a few weeks and had some trouble deciding since everything looked so good.

Here is what we chose

Day 1
Lunch: Le Cellier
Dinner: Nine Dragons

Day 2
Breakfast: Grand Floridian Cafe
Lunch: Sci Fi
Dinner Wolfgang Puck

Day 3
Breakfast: Kouzzina
Lunch: San Angel Inn
Dinner: Teppan Edo

Day 4
Breakfast: Kona
Lunch: undecided yet but we were thinking ESPN Club or Big River Grille
Dinner: Ohana

Day 5
Breakfast: Crystal Palace
Lunch: Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner: Whispering Canyon

Day 6
Breakfast: Tusker house
Lunch: Yak & Yeti
Dinner: Spirit of Aloha

Day 7
Breakfast: Chef Mickey's
Lunch: Coral Reef
Dinner: Chef de France

The Spirit of Aloha show is a nice show with good food and beer/wine included - it's worth seeing imo since you mentioned it as a possibility.

We had a great experience at LC early this July - if you can get in it's a good choice.

You mentioned you like a breakfast - I'd recommend Donald's Safari Breakfast at the Tusker House - we loved it, and the character interaction is limited but nice. We did a 10am and were so full that we had trouble eating our CS at 9pm that night.

Tutto??? I'm not sure I'd recommend Italian at WDW - we ate at MM (because of the F!) package. The non Italian food was fine - the Italian was pretty poor - not sure if this is limited to MM or representative of all Italian on property.

Personally, I also wouldnt go to Teppan Edo - only because you can go to a Japanese Hibachi place almost anywhere, and while it might be great, we wanted more "Disney" type dinners.

You mentioned liking buffets - both 1900 Park Fare and Boma were higher quality food and I'd go back to both of them. I wasn't thrilled with Chef Mickey's food quality - it was a bit lower than the other 2 - wasn't bad, but wasn't special either.
