We are staying at POFQ June 17-20 & then Beach Club June 20-27. When I call to make our ADR's, do I call 2 separate times? One call for my POFQ stay (March 19-90 days out) and then again for BC (March 22 - 90 days out)?
Thanks, Sondra

Hi,

If you are staying on site (which you are!) you can make up 10 days' worth of ADRs on your day 90.

We are doing a split stay May 26-June 2 at Beach Club and then moving over to the Contemporary on June 2. I was NOT allowed to make the 90 + 10 ADRs. When I called at the 90 day mark for my May 26 reservation, I was only allowed to make reservations through June 2. I had to wait a week and call back to make reservations for after June 2. The CM tried but the system would not let her. She said that I could not make reservations past my check-out date. I hope that you have a different experience, but that was mine.

That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping to be able to make them all.

No harm in trying, but they would not let me. The CM was very nice and tried to make the ADRs for the second resort but she said the system was not allowing her to. I do think that it should be the 90 + 10.

Call and try again. We have a split stay coming up and I was allowed to make all my ADR's even though we're switching from a value resort to DVC. Maybe it depends on the CM....

We do split stays all the time & I've always been able to make 10 days worth of ADRs during my first call.

We were just there for 8 nights in January....no problem.

I hope it was just my CM. She tried making the ADR for the later date and the computer would not let her. It could just be a glitch with the new system.

We are staying for two weeks also - have a continuing reservation at the same resort though. I made my reservations yesterday and they let me make them for the first 11 days of my trip (90 +10). I had read on here that people weren't being allowed to do that so I was surprised when she said that I could.

We are staying at CS for 5 nights, going to Tampa for 2 nights and coming back to the Poly for 3 nights. I called a couple weeks ago and was easily able to make my ADRs all the way to the end of our Poly stay.

I too have always made all of my ADRs during a split stay. They generally only ask the checkin date and confirmation number.

Hmmm... it seems like lately people are running into trouble doing this. My 90 day for the start of my trip is this Thursday, so I guess time will tell if I can make them all or call back on Sunday for the second part of my split stay.

:headache: I have a 'split stay' at the BCV and was NOT allowed to book all 7 days (the first ressie is for 2 days and then one for 5). I tried multiple times on Saturday and Sunday and each time I gave my ADR I was told I could only book for the first 3 days inclusive. I had to wait and call back today. I'm not sure why some people are being able to make their ADRs with split stays and others of us aren't. It certainly is a reflection on their new system and the problems with it. I've been on hold 50 minutes and had to hang up, then 30 minutes and had to hang up. I guess I will call when I get home tonight.

we are splitting 1 week pop, June 12-19 and 1 week poly, June 19-26. We called last night (88 days) and could make 11 days of ADR's . The CM couldn't go any farther, she said that we had to wait for the 90 day mark for our 2nd check-in to book the last 3 days.

this is so weird! does it have anything to do with being a DVC member?

This might be a clue. I wonder if the folks here are ALL calling Disney Dine or if some are calling Member Services. I wonder which might be the problem. I'll find out in a couple of weeks when I call for my July trip -- I have a split stay too.

I'm a DVC member, but I called on the 407 wdisney # and I was able to get all of my ADRs for a split stay. I think that it is just that the CMs are not used to the system yet. Some posters have been able to get through no problem, and others not. I told the CM up front that I had a split stay, she took the first confirmation #, which was just for one day, and never even asked for the other(for 6days) and then was able to book the whole stay. Good luck everyone! I know this must be frustrating!

I have a split stay and called yesterday at my 90 day mark to the normal disney dining number. I was told by two different CM's that the old system would let you make all your reservations 90 +10,even with split stays, but the new system that is in effect for stays from the end of May on will not. I have a room only for one night followed by a 7 nt. pkg and was told I could only make ADRs for that 1st stay yesterday. I called back today to make the rest of my ADRs and asked again to speak with a supervisor to confirm what I was told yesterday. The CM supervisor again told me that the new system, unlike the old one, recognizes end dates to your stay and therefor in my case only can see me checking out the next day and not see me checking back in. She said that everytime you have a split stay from now you will have to call back for ADR's at the start of every split. I asked about the +10 and she said yes, that is still in effect, IF your one reservation is 10 or more days, but if you have shorter ones, you will still have to call 90 days from the start of each reservation regardless of how long your total stay is. I made sure to voice my displeasure to this change!
