Hey,

Can I pick the combined brain trust?

Am a first-timer going to WDW this August, booked through Virgin Holidays. My ADR 180-day window opens early Feb.

Can I check, what sort of booking reference thingie do I need to make my ADRs? Do I need to get something specific off Virgin and if so, does anyone know the best way of getting the correct information as I'd hate to find my ADR window opened and I didn't have the reference number/details I need to make some online ADRs.

Thanks!

Tim

There are alot of us going at that time, and we are hoping to have a dis meet if you are interested, see the post wayne has done!:thumbsup2
you can make adrs wthout any code, for 180 days out, if you want (logically;)) to do the 180+10 then you ll need to call them, i just asked for it over the phone and they gave it my, i think i just asked for the number to make adrs, they are used to this request, lol, but im sure it has a "real" name:lmao:
welcome to the disboards

you dont always need a reservation number to make adrs, we havent ever needed it as they have just found our booking

The number you need is called your US reservation number, you will need it, your check in date, resort and last name to link up your booking. You may as well use it as it will let you book the first ten days ADRS in one go.

Your ticker has the exact same date as mine!! Are you flying from Manchester? Maybe we're even on the same flight!!! :)

:goodvibes

Hey Luke,

We're flying out on Thurs 5th August - is that the same date?

We're going from Gatwick though.

Tim

Yep same date, were on the early Manchester flight, we'll probably cross paths at MCO :)

When I stayed at OKW, I too had booked with VH, when I phoned for my ADR's, she asked for my reservation number. I explained I had booked with a UK TA and gave her my virgin booking reference, date of first stay and surname and she found my booking and did all my ADR's for the first 10 days.

Update...

Emailed frequent virgin club hoping to get US reservation number. They say Disney only release it to them at 180 days and then they send it on. Trying to explain that that's not exactly ideal since right on 180 days I want to make my 180+10 reservations. Waiting for them to get back to me.

Anyone else come across this with Virgin Holidays?

Tim

Phone Disney in the US directly. It is the quickest way to get it. You may find some interesting points on a recent thread - different title, basically the same issue being discussed. Here's the link: http://www.disboards.com /showthread.php?t=2372538
