making a room request??

i want to request a specific block to stay in on sunday and also to be in an upstairs room (my mom has a fear of being robbed ) do i have to ring the santa fe. i tried but the number kept ringing out. or can i ring the reservations line? the last time i rang the santa fe i found it very hard to speak to somebody who spoke english and in the end i was told to ring back another time

I'd try calling the reservations line. They were very good when I spoke to them last week requesting a certain block at the Santa Fe Hotel.
