Making a Reservation From Two Contracts

Here's a question: let's say I have two 100-point contracts with a Dec UY - one at BLT and one at BWV. I have no banked points on either contact. On 12/1/20 I want to make a reservation at BLT beginning 11/1/21. The reservation requires 150 points. Would I be able to use fifty 2020 UY BWV points to make the reservation, or would I have to borrow fifty points (the max right now) from my BLT 2021 UY? I think I know the answer (the answer being no) but just want to confirm.

Until the 7 month window opens, you cannot use any points other than those for BLT to book at BLT.

Unless they were borrowed, you should have 100 BLT Dec 2020 points (you are currently in your Dec 2019 UY). A Nov 2021 trip would fall in your Dec 2020 UY. You could borrow points from your Dec 2021 UY (up to 50 of them) to get 150 points. BUT, you may be putting those Dec BLT points in jeopardy by booking a trip so late in your UY. If you need to cancel, you wouldn't be able to return the borrowed points to the Dec 2021 UY. You'd have to book a trip starting before the one you cancel to keep the points. Unless you canceled the trip by July 31, 2021. Then you could bank your current year points, but you would still lose the borrowed points unless you made a short reservation (if you could still get one) before Nov 30, 2021.

Likely you would not be able to book a Nov stay at seven months out.

You can never combine points from two different resorts to book one of the resorts at 11 months out. You can only use the specific points for that resort at 11 months out for that resort.
