Hi, y'all! Needing information on how and if I need to make a specific request for a non pet room at AOA. My daughter has allergies and asthma, so even though we love the doggos, we can't stay in a room that has been recently inhabited by one. Is this a non issue, as in, if you don't have a pet they don't use those rooms? I tried to make the request on My Dis Experience and there wasn't an option for it. Do I need to call?

I would call to ensure they annotate that since it is in fact an allergy reason. Also- when you are given your room, go on the app and call the hotel to again make sure you do not have a pet room. :-)

I saw someone here point out that service animals are put in any room, so you should call and request they do an allergy clean before you arrive.

Yes. Service animals are permitted in any room. Anyone with allergies that bad should be asking for an allergy clean whenever they stay in a hotel anywhere. (At least in the US anyway.)
