Thanks for taking a minute to look. I'm making a mini (4x6) travel journal for our trip next summer.
And my first use of the cricut with the Mickey Font cartridge. Love any hints/tips for using it.
Hope you like it.

It's cute! Are you using seperate journaling blocks that you will paste on?

I plan on using 4x6 index cards in between each divider I make for notes about that park day. Then I'll be able to make journaling tags or such from our notes for my big album.
I used really thin chipboard and backed it with a plain color thinking I may be able to use them in my album when we return, but decorating the back too would be a waste if it wont be seen later.

My daughter asked if it was going to be her autograph pages, I may have to rethink my design or just make a bigger something for that. Any ideas?

That is adorable, and I think would make a good autograph book too.

Take this advice from a Mom who has carried many autograph books to the parks, you'll appreciate it being small. What we did was have the character sign one side of the book and leaving the opposite page blank for a pic of your child and the character. Makes a great souvenier. :)

Have a great trip.

Super cute!

We've got a surprise trip coming up and I'm not sure what to do about autographs. DD may think it's not cool to do autographs, so I don't want to "waste" a ton of time making one...What to do, what to do?

thanks for the tip. I was worried that they needed a bigger page to sign.

Bring along a pack of 4 x 6 cardstock.... if she wants to do autographs you could have these cards signed and then make the book when you get home. If she DOESN'T want autographs you haven't lost anything!

My kids always want the "real" Disney autograph books, so I'm off the hook!:rotfl: ..................P

I'll probably bring some cardstock, but knowing her, she'll want an "official" one too (why have only one when two is better?)!

Bringing a 4x6 pack of cardstock is a great idea! thanks for the tip. I think Hobby Lobby has 40% off Paper Studio right now, I am going to have to make a trip!
