Makeup?

I was hoping to see the product line via your link because I like cosmetics, although I don't normally wear all that much, sometimes nothing at all ... :faint: :) he he....
I don't think that the new merchandising line has anything to do with bored workers but rather to deliver a new, fun, colorful and exciting way for individuals who are so inclined to be creative with independent expression through cosmetics and to be only limited by ones own self. Creativity is like numbers ....... infinite!
I am looking forward to seeing this line.

That's a good way to look at it. I guess I was being a bit cynical.
I hope they put it in Ulta stores. That would be a fun way to shop Disney.

I don't really see how it's different from the nail polish collections. I like the idea, might or might not buy them, I don't really wear much makeup. :)

True. Hopefully it's as good of quality. We have the Opi nail polish set, and it's nice. (Especially when DDs give me a "Minnie" pedi.)

Today is the "launch". I saw some pictures. The packaging isn't high end, but quite pretty. I would like to see some reviews of the products.

Remember they also did perfumes? I don't know if they still did this, but I saw them on clearance at the Disney Store B&M as well as online. Although I didn't follow it closely enough, I concluded that they didn't sell very well. I also saw the Disney Villains nail polish set on clearance as well. However, if those two things were doing well, then I don't see any reason for Disney to branch out into makeup. I also wish their advertising included pictures of the makeup.

Oh! I just saw this!

I LOVE the Disney princess sets they are coming out with at Sephora!!! OMG...the Cinderella compact was soooo beautiful!!

I would totally buy Disney makeup :thumbsup2

I saw the ones pictured above in the Disney Store in the mall today. I wasn't impressed. They looked like a child's set. Hopefully the rest of the line is better. I imagine any from Sephora should be a better quality.

I've got some of the Disney purfume - I think it's Arial. It was bought for me and I wasn't expecting much because like a PP mentioned it had very childish packaging, but it's a really nice scent and I'd probably buy more.

I have learned to never judge by bottle or name... Paris Hilton's perfume smells really nice and still sells well. Who knew :-)

Ok... tried some of the lip gloss. Very sticky. I gave it to my DD12.

I think I will see if Ulta has the Urban Decay eyeshadow out to sample. I want to know if I'll like it before I buy it. $49 is WAY too much to spend on eyeshadow just to give it to a 12 year old.

Oh thank you. So good to know I don't need to try on. I have sticky lip gloss!

Finally made it in to town to Ulta today only to find out that the limited edition Urban Decay OZ palettes are sold out!
Keep looking.... :/
I guess I may just have to get a few of the items at DL. ;)

I took a look at the make up at Dl, it looked nice but there were not any testers out.
Sticky lip gloss you say? Hm.... that means strands of ones hair would stick even better to their lips.... :faint: ;) No... really believe me, I know, not to mention a sundrie of other items such as but not limited to: toast crumbs, crumbled cheeses, cracker crumbs, cereal bits, pop tart crumbs and maybe a bug or two. OMG! ............................. ;) Now where were we? Oh yes ....

Hahaha... you seriously made me LOL!!! If only there was a little of that reality in advertising.

Lana :)
