This is not very budget friendly but has anyone used chanel make up? I am thinking of trying their new liquid mineral make up,its called Vitalumiere aqua.I tried a sample, its very thin, but still flawless coverage.I am norm a bare minerals girl but as I get older kinda want to switch it up and get some good makeup...I am noticing as I get older my skin gets more uneven and my dark circles are worse. It IS 45.00 so I am a little freaked out by that but I may just go for it.I still can not find anything for the dark circles though...dont think I wont to spring for the chanel under eye cover...

Just beware that once you start with the higher end counter stuff you get addicted. :rotfl: But you never ever have to buy masacara again, there is always a tube with every promo gift.

I swear by Benefit for my dark circles. I prime with Stay don't Stray, then use either Erase Paste or Boing as my concealer. Unless I'm extremely tired that combo does the trick most days.

Never used it, but if it makes you feel great when you wear it, it's worth it! Now I will have to stop by Nordstrom and ask for a sample. I am always looking for the next best makeup!

there was an Actress on the View this week that swear by Avons age Defining skin care line. I know Avon has a website now.

Also there is an eye roller for dark circles that is advertised on tv. it may oil of olay, or revlon. Many people swear by it!!

Bare Mineral has a very limited line of products, I like Sheer Coverage Minerals and it truly covers!! It comes with a face wash, toner and moisturizer, a moist cover up, your foundation color minerals, and the sheer powder, and now they have blush and eye shades. Plus if you watch the infomercial they have starter kit for $20.00 that is guaranteed money back.

I have used some Chanel cosmetic products, though I have not used the one you tried. Generally, Chanel foundation tends to be a bit pink, if you know what I mean. It might make your skin look a tiny bit darker. If you like to make your skin look brighter or prefer the "naked" look, you might want to try something else. Otherwise, Chanel's foundation is good.

I HATE wearing make up but this stuff feels like it is not even there that is the only reason I am even thinking about it! lol but I am always worried about how my dark circles look...they run in the family:( I am bummed that I am starting to see them on my dd...I dont use alot of cover up on them because to me it looks even worse when I try to cover them....maybe its me that just feels weird with the make up? I hate looking "too done up" thats why I do the tinted moisterizer (thats what i use now) with a tiny bit of BM bronzer and lip gloss..so I would use the chanel, bronzer and lip gloss.
uuuggg this should NOT be a major deal...:headache:

A lot of products claim they can treat dark circle around eyes. There are two reasons why one has dark circles. One is make up residue, and the other is the gene. Unfortunately, if it runs in the family, there is not one product that I know can treat it. I am sorry. An under-eye concealer will do a really good job covering it up. Try it!

I have used Chanel. I liked it pretty well. I can tell you that I didn't like most of their skin care line.

I am in the camp of, you are getting older, or you are younger or whatever age you are, if it makes your skin look better then go for it, you can cut back else where.

You see your face all the time and so does everyone else, so if you feel that it makes you look better then knock yourself out. I switch from product to product, but I can say that I can see a big difference in all of them over drug store brand stuff. Also, I would just tell them that I was very sensitive and if I have a problem, can I bring it back. I think most of these lines will allow that, and sensitivity gives you a pretty good out, just in case.

I know that when I did a face makeover at Chanel, several people told me how nice it looked and how my face looked so much brighter and younger.

I was going to post the same thing. Very handy site with tons of reviews. I always check it out before committing to a new product.

I also swear by Benefit's Boing concealer. I also have dark circles under my eyes and this beats every other product I have ever tried!! I have used Channel's foundation for years and do really like it but does not help the circles. Give this concealer a try I would be suprised if you didn't love it too!
