Loving the updates! My cousin was a make a wish kid when she was about 7, so 12 years ago! It was a complete disaster! She chose to go to Disney and they put them in a dumpy motel, we are talkin there were bugs in the room. My cousins ended up leaving and paying to stay at the Beach Club. Glad to see your trip turned out to be a million times nicer!

I suppose there was not a Give Kids the World 12 years ago.

Sorry your cousin had a bad time - but wish trips now don't have those issues. They aren't perfect trips, but the accommodations now are first rate!

Good question, when did GKTW open their doors? I have a friend whose dd is now 13 and they went when she was about 5 I think. That's the first time I heard of it.

What an amazing MK day!!! I had to laugh at the pink princess hair. I think it looks so silly. Why do the little girls like it? They seem to be really nice in BBB in regards to photos as we had some taken there and didn't even get hair done. Nice of them to take Carmella's. I love you little pirate too! What a busy day!

Once they checked into Beach Club they had a great time. My cousins are pretty well off, so it wasn't a big deal to them, what really bothered them was how could they put sick kids in such horrid conditions. I am glad the program has improved!
