Hello!
I had posted about 4 months ago that our wish had been approved, but have been so busy that I haven't been keeping up on here. I have a lot to read up on. We finally received our dates for Aidan's trip to Disney. We are going Nov. 29-Dec. 5, but I don't know for sure that we are staying at GKTW. If we have our dates, they should be able to confirm that for me right? Now I just have to start our pre-trip report. (I should have started it months ago like I wanted, but got lazy!)
Has anyone ever gone to MVMCP? We are thinking about doing it on the Sunday we arrive, but aren't sure of our flight times. I am afraid to buy tickets and have our flights be to late to go. If I recall, flight times are somewhat of a last minute detail.

On my way with Mya to see the Jonas Brother's in a Private Rehearsel at the New Cowboy's Stadium.

Hello! I know that there are several of you out there who have been following this thread for many months, and have come to know many of our wonderful Wish Trippers. I'm writing with an update on a couple of them, for those of you who don't necessarily follow their family blogs.
First, Noah - dear, sweet Noah - is here in Toronto for all kinds of investigations. We live close to the hospital and I just got back from meeting Noah and his mum, Nichole. We have a lovely visit! Noah is such a swwet, bubbly child with a smile that melts your heart instantaneously. Brad (Noah's Dad/Nichole's hubby) was able to be here for the first week, but Noah and Nichole on alone together now. She was able to get a room at Ronald McDonald house. I witnessed how Noah has completely captivated the staff and volunteers. Nichole is updating her blog daily (so far). Tomorrow, Noah is going in for surgery - exploratory work to learn more about what's going on with his G/I anatomy, stoma etc...with some work on his ear tubes as a bonus! The surgery is in the morning, but Nichole is not sure how long. I expect it will be a while until she gets a chance to update via the blog. She seems to be quite pleased with the level of care at Sick Kids and the approach the docs are taking. And Noah is looking very, very good.
Next, the Greenawalt family. Some of you are following their blog and postings here. Their youngest, Savannah, recently had a muscle biopsy in Atlanta (as well as all kinds of other things) to investigate what's behind her lack of weight gain, and delayed motor development. She's another sweetie with a bright smile that could light the world. Mum Amber wrote a very detailed post on her blog about the Atlanta trip. Amber has also had some health concerns lately herself. And, it's their eldest, Sebastian, who is the Wish Child. Sebastian went for new scans yesterday - and received good news. However, he was complaining during the day of pain - "my sides hurt." In the end they took him to Emergency for a long night, came home, but she has posted around noon that they are headed back to the children's hospital for admission. They have had such a tough time, and I pray that Sebastian will be fine soon.
Just thought you'd want to know, and please consider adding both these families to your prayers.
Alison
PS Has anyone had any news of Rebecca lately?
Thanks for posting the update for us Alison! You rock!
I've been keeping up with Nichole's blog...looks like they had two special visitors Alison AND Mickey. I'm so jealous!
We are doing much better this week. Sebastian had to have some de-programming after this latest stint in the hospital --as in no ice cream at 10:00 p.m. now that we're home--that sort of thing
Everytime I come back to this thread it makes me smile!! I feel like I have made friends with so many of ya'll. You always leave the best comments on my blog. Thank you!!!!
I get to make my ADRs for our September trpi this Sunday. Anyone have any experience using the new on-line ressie system?
I am posting this in hopes to get a few prayers on my side.
About the same time as Liam was making his wish I was filling out papper work for Liam to get Social Security. It was never a thought in my mind that Liam would be deneied. I was already planning to use some of the back pay to buy the tickets to MNSSHP and for doing a Character Meal. Well I guess its right to say don't count your chickens before they hatch, because he was denied.
prayers for you!

SSI drives me crazy! We are applying for the 3rd time. Some genuises in the offices think that life with a sick child is easy! Dev has been having blood infussions evey month for the last 5 years. That's not sick enough. Just like they don't think that Liam's CF is bad enough. They don't have to walk in our shoes!
GRRRRRRRR! They have to much red tape to deal with...
I know that there will be an answer to your prayers! We have seen lots here on the board!
Amber!!!!! How are you? I have been keeping up... are you back to feeling good again? Do you have spots?
I learn more medical stuff from your family than any class ever taught me.
I used the online system to try to find a ressie at CRT for Mya (not mac's Mya our new Mya) and no luck. But it is because there are no ressies.
I would call and sit at the computer and do them both at the same time! And see which route wins. And let us know.![]()
I have heard that the walk from the Universal parking lot to the gate is a hike. Anyone have a guess how long of a walk it is, time-wise? We have breakfast ressies at 9:30 and don't want to get there too early--or too late!
Thanks!
Mary Anne

Now I don't know what I am going to do. I hope that the money from MaW will cover it but I can't be certain. Being a single mom I know I can't swing it right now.
So here are where your prayers come in. I just emailed the wish cordinator and told here what was going on. I am hoping that they can take care of at least one of these events for me now. Hope to here from her in the next couple of days.![]()
Well we went out only to find out the show is Tomorrow Night. Should have looked at the tickets, but Mya learned a lesson in Honesty. I have to work tomorrow and I was going to call in sick, in order to take her. I however said a little prayer, the same way I got the tickets and called work. One of my manager's was very happy to work my shift so I could take her tomorrow night, after another partner switched from Open to Close for me. So once again answered prayers. Just wish I had read the ticket before driving out, but Mya learned honesty does work.
So Maroo, it wasn't us on TV, but I did look at our tickets and we are nine rows from the stage. Suppose to only be like 2500 tomorrow night. Don't tell anyone, but I'm really excited about it. I might lose my "man" card for that!
