I have gotten lost every time I get in the car on this trip. I don't know why? But we must get to a grocery store, like Publix or WalMart.

I need fool proof directions from OKW to a store please. I have maps on my Iphone but don't like to read and drive at the same time.

Here's a map of shopping options in the area.
I use the Publix on S. International Dr.
From OKW:
Take left out of resort proceed to light.
Take left onto Bonnet Creek Pkwy, proceed to 2nd light.
Take right onto Buena Vista Dr, proceed to 3rd light.
Take left onto Victory Way, proceed to 2nd light.
Take left onto Osceola Pkwy, proceed to 2nd light.
Take right onto S International Dr, Pubiix is .7 mile on left just after overpass.
Total trip approx 5.5 miles

Very nice, I've just printed a copy (hope you don't mind). I know myself around Orlando quite well but this will be a great help to family members that come to visit from all over.

I once got a great map of the area from the OKW concierge. Really helps out driving around! One side has the WDW area, the other side expands on the area.

See that big P near the Orlando Premium Outlets?

Exit to the left out of OKW (Disney Vacation Club Way). Turn left at the light (Bonnet Creek Parkway). Turn right at the next light that takes you across Epcot Center Drive (I think that is Overpass Road). At the light when you get to the end of Overpass Road, if you went straight, you'd be going into Backstage Epcot. Make a U turn there and get on Epcot Center Drive to I-4 heading towards the Airport. Keep straight on Epcot Center Drive and it turns into World Drive. Pass through two lights and at the third light you turn left onto International Drive (if you went straight you'd go to the airport). Drive down International Drive and turn left at Regency Square Shopping Center. That is where the Publix is that you see on the map near Orlando Premium Outlets.

If you don't want to take Overpass Road, you can go down to Buena Vista Drive, turn left onto Buena Vista Drive, turn right at the next light and then another right just before you get to the light at Overpass Road. So either a U-turn or a loop.

Return the same way, but exit at the sign that says OKW/POR/POFQ, just after you cross over Buena Vista. You'll wind up at the light by Disney Vacation Club Way and Bonnet Creek Parkway. Keep straight and OKW entrance will be on the right.

You can also exit off this road before you get to Buena Vista, but you'll have to stop at the light at Buena Vista (right by the OKW Lighthouse). Go straight through the light to Overpass Road, turn right onto Disney Vacation Club Way.

This way you bypass all the mess by the Orlando Premium Outlets and the Shrine, plus all the timeshares along the way. And you avoid I-4 traffic.

This may be a little late, but there is a BJ's at Millenia Mall, BJ's liquor store attached next door, and BJ's gas. If you have a membership. We do and it is where we load up for the week at the resort.
