Mainstay Suites through HotelKingdom.com?

Does anyone have an idea of how the rates usually run with this hotel in October/November? Two years ago we got a rate for the bi level in November (Thanksgiving week) for 60 a night and then this past year we got a rate of 61 a night for the same room type. I see on HotelKingdom.com the rates have skyrocketed for this property since changing to a Mainstay instead of the Lake Cecile Suites....do rates usually go down the closer to travel time you book? Or, if I book now and a lower rate become available will they change my current reservations or will I have to make new ones and cancel the old ones? Thanks for any insight....this will only be the second year we've used Hotel Kingdom.com and so I'm trying to figure out how to obtain a closer rate to what we've had in previous years.
