Maine-at par

Does anyone know if in Maine, Canadian money will be taken at par? I remember some time ago some places in Maine would do this.
Maybe I'm just dreaming...

Usually it's the Bangor Mall Merchants, and the hotels handy that do it..

I haven't heard of this in a while.....and I usually go to maine a few times a year....

In fact, I am going on Jan 2 to pick my sister up at the airport.....so it would be nice!

Well, I've done some research and couldn't find any at par deals. Oh well, I'll soon be off to Disney.

During high school (almost 10 years ago) I worked at the Maine (Portland) Mall and we accepted Canadian money. I know the toll booths also accept Canadian money.

But this was many years ago,they're in Brewer,outside Bangor,but don't think they do any more.
I go to Maine every year,and haven't seen anything at par in years!

And,be sure to visit The Christmas Tree Shop in Portland ,it's the best!
