I remember reading that you can get two items and one drink at the Main Street Bakery for 1 CS credit.

For example:

1 ciny roll, 1 french toast loaf and 1 orange juice = 1 CS Credit

I'm looking forward to this on our MK day and I don't want to be disppointed if we get there and I'm not correct. Please confirm?? :confused3

It's been 2 years since I've been but that was exactly right then. Maybe someone else can confirm with more recent info but I think you are using the correct amounts for one CS. Any 2 items and a drink.

Have a great trip!

Joanne

I've been wordering this, too! I've heard it's one baked item and 2 drinks. I've also heard that you can get the hot breakfast sandwich with 2 drinks.

Anyone who has been recently know for sure? :surfweb:

There's been reports both ways.

If you're talking about breakfast, the usual policy with breakfast is to offer two beverages because you don't get dessert with breakfast, but it's been reported by some posters that they could get 2 food items and one beverage, and by others that they were permitted to get one food item and two beverages. I think it's likely you won't know for sure until you get there and ask.

For lunch or dinner I'd guess you get two food items and one beverage.

When I went for breakfast I was allowed one sandwich or the fruit and cheese plate, one sweet, and one drink.

Would it not be better to use a snack credit for something like a roll or pastry then use a refillable mug for your drink, thus saving you CS credit.

If this is possible?

If you mean the resort refillable mug, you can't get those refilled in the park. Unless you bring the drink with you from your resort, that won't work.

I thought you could get refillable mugs at the parks.

Or is it just the water parks?

Animal Kingdom is the only park I have heard of that sells any type of refillable cup. And the refills there are not free, but reduced cost.

The water parks do sell mugs with a bar code that is only good on the day you buy the mug.

Ok thanks.

Its still pretty inexpensive to buy a coffee with you free SC muffin instead of using your CS credit up though.

Last August we were able to get one sweet and one savory items and 2 drinks. We chose a sweet roll, ham and cheese on croissant, a choc milk and a juice. We probably were able to get so much because you were allowed an appetizer back then. We will be going in 2 weeks, so will report back when I return.

We were able to get two sweets and two drinks for breakfast (1CS) but I was confused and they kept reitterating the same thing over and over and it didn't make any sense

No, I don't think so the CS credit is paid for ie. sunk cost. Every OOP dollar/coin you spend just broadens the smile on the mouse. If you are hungry use your credits to eat. The plan is enough "currency" to fill you up and many end up with CS credits, some snacks credits too. So many save and make value decisions when really they should have spent the credits.

Two drinks and a couple of sweet treats is a pretty good light bfast for a small family for a CS credit. Esp when so many lunches are also big enough to share, effectively using 2CS credits to feed two adults as planned.

Besides using the snack credit for a real snack like the MSB homemade Choclate chip ice cream sandwich or Carrot cake is what snack credits are really meant for...woo hoo. Now those two vs a juice an sweet roll, uh huh I thought so!

Let's talk sandwiches - my plan is to get a sandwich, drink and desert for dinner one night. Take them all to go, find a spot for the parade and have a picnic while waiting for the parade. Is this possible or do they only serve "bakery" items now?

You can do that. We did it in reverse, got a meal inside after the parade.

This was shared between two adults:
Sandwich: Basil Mozz (yum, yum)
Dessert: HUGE slice of carrot cake (leftovers)
Bottled drink

Nephew (5yo) grabbed a PB&J Uncrustable, milk and I think a healthy dessert like a banana or yogurt, everything his choice (he loved those Uncrustables :confused3 )

You may want to talk sandwiches, but the family will eat dessert first with this meal, so just deal with it: the homemade chocolate chip ice cream sandwich isn't going to wait until the turkey sandwich is finished. :thumbsup2
