Main Street Bakery-before park opens?

Just making sure that you can eat at Main Street Bakery BEFORE the park opens. From all the posts about it, we'd like to eat there, but don't want to lose time before heading to Tomorrowland! Also, how crowded is it this early?

No, you can not eat at Main Street Bakery prior to park opening, as it is a counter service establishment located inside of the MK. You will need to wait until after they open the park. They only admit people early if they have AR's for n early AM table service meal at locations such as CRT or CP.

What a bummer! At DL, Main Street Bakery is before you get to the 'rope'. I was hoping it would be the same at MK. Okay, time to rethink things...

Even after MK opens, Main Street Bakery gets crowded and it's very hard to find a table.

You used to be able to but about a year ago on our visit, we were stopped at the train station and corraled into that small area and then the train pulls up with the characters and they all "open" the park together....As cute as this may be one time? I miss the days you could go down main street and go into the shops before the rides opened, and this included the awesome bakery items at the Main Street Bakery. I guess people with small children enjoy this opening show but I would rather spend my time at my own choice.I feel forced to watch it because you can't go anywhere else. Oh well, I'm digressing, haha....Be sure to check out the bakery, even if there is a long line? There are usually enough CMs to get the customers served quickly. Only problem you will have is there are so many delicious choices to choose from! Enjoy it when you go!

We always eat at Blue Ribbon Baker on Main Street in Disneyland before the park opens too! It drives me nuts you can't do it at WDW. I also don't think Main Street Baker is as good as Blue Ribbon, jmho! We usually end up eating at the food court or just having granola bars in the room.
