Main dining vs. Late Dining?

While I do feel a little more hurried when we are eating main dining time, I really don't like eating second seating. We have done it our last two cruises, including just a four night cruise. I really don't like turning in after eating so much; we don't stay out real late, we are early eaters at home typically start cooking no later than five, and I really enjoy having the whole evening free to do as we please.
