We are heading to the Disney the end of February and will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Can someone please tell me the address I would use to ship a package down to myself there. Also, how far in advance do you suggest we mail it. Thanks.

Hi
I mailed a package to CBR a week before our arrival date. When I checked in I asked about it and they delivered it while we were at Epcot. My friends were so surprised when we got back to the room. I shipped it UPS, since I heard that if you ship it from the Post Office, it goes somewhere first before it goes to the resort. Have a great trip!!

We just mailed the packages out today...11 days prior to our arrival. We just used the regular post office as that is what we used last year when we stayed at the All Star and didn't have any problems. Just curious...why do others use UPS and not the USPS.

Here's the info on why NOT to use USPS = In summary.. the USPS will deliver to Disneys central drop off and days later the package will arrive at the resort.. (hopefully) ... it's just really not the best or most reliable way to do it. And add to that, your package could well arrive AFTER you leave.. :(

Don't ship it through the Post Office... Here is why... The US Post Office does NOT recognize Disney streets, any and all mail being sent to Disney through the US Post Office will go to the PO Box (regardless of how you address it) as the post office does not deliver to Disney directly. From the PO Box it is sorted into sections and then specific locations before it is delivered out to property. This can take quite a bit of time.

UPs, Fed Ex, DHL, any kind of courier service will deliver directly to the hotel. My suggestion would be to get the package ready and send it out about 7 days prior to your arrival (you can send it further out if you like they will hold it). If you give yourself enough time you can ship it ground service which is the cheapest.

As for who to address it to you would want to address it like this:

The name of the person who is the LEAD name on the reservation (may not be you, but it is easier to find that way)
C/O the hotel you are staying at/ Front Desk
The address of the hotel
And put HOLD for guest check in and the date (you can put the res # too if you want, but it is not really needed).

So it would look something like this

John Smith
C/O Disney's Wilderness Lodge Front Desk
Hold for guest arrival 4/02
901 Timberline Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Fl 32830

Here is a list of the resort address' (again this can ONLY be used for courier services, US Post office will not deliver to the property directly)

You should have your room requests noted on your reservation; very few of the resorts look at faxes anymore. It would be too overwhelming.

If you still wish to fax your request, the number for CBR is (407)934-3288.

Very VERY few of the room assignors bother with looking at the faxes anymore..

Think about the hundreds of rooms changing hands every few days and the stack of papers the room assignor would have to try to match up to a reservation..

Most of them have quite assuredly given up trying and just look at the notations on the reservation... if any.

In otherwords.. I really REALLY wouldn't fax... but if you do - please be sure they are noted on reservation.

Hi Thanks for the fax info..I logged onto Disney tonight to see if I could add the requests to my reservation and it wouldnt let me. I guess Im stuck now until I get there. I may try calling if all else fails. thanks again
