Mailing Postcards

Is there a place on the ship to drop off postcards to be mailed or do we have to do that when we are on the island? Do they take regular US postage (I know CC they have the Bahamas postage).

Bumping up - looking for an answer - can postcards be mailed on the ship?? Didn't quite understand the one answer that was posted.

I don't recall seeing anywhere on the ship to mail postcards. You can mail them from Castaway Cay, but you must purchase Bahamian stamps at the little post office on the island. I think it was $.65 to mail a postcard back to the U.S. and it does take them 3 weeks or so to arrive.

No, you cant mail from the ship, but you can send them from C.Cay for 65c I believe it was. However, they took 3 weeks' to arrive - by which time we were already planning our NEXT vacation! Post them at the airport/Orlando to make sure they get to their destination a bit quicker! Nat
