mailing card or postcard...is there a PO in the parks?

My cousins are going to Disney in Nov. I wanted to mail their little girl a princess postcard or something during my Aug trip telling her that the princess can't wait to see her. She's really into the princess thing like most 5 year olds! Plus she gets a kick out of getting mail. Are there post offices in the parks? Are there Disney stamps? What about the postmark...will it have anything special...like mickey ears or something? Just curious.

You can mail from your resort for sure-- I am not sure about the parks.

Disney stamps were out at the local post office last fall, they are .37 I do not think they sell them at disney, but they do have the post card postage which I think was .27

I'm sure they have something in the parks too, someone more experienced will be able to answer. But I sent mine from the scrapbook store at downtown Disney. It had a tinkerbell postmark I think.

They sell stamps at City Hall, right by the MK entrance. There is a mailbox there, as well -- and at several other places around the park. The mailboxes announce that anything mailed from WDW will be postmarked "Lake Buena Vista, FL." I'm not aware of Mickey ears or anything special on the postmark. I presume it's the same with the resorts. FWIW: They also sell stamps at the resort gift shops.

All the parks and resorts have mailboxes. Just be aware that they are not emptied everday, and they are just a regular post mark. When we mailed postcards back to ourselves we beat a few of them home. The scrapbooking store in Downtown Disney which is next to the art store has a special Tinkerbell postmark. No mouse ears, though. We purchased Disney stamps at our resorts general store. Someone had posted earlier that they just purchased Disney stamps at their local post office. You can find some really cool princess postcards. We found several I guess you could call them 3D? special effects ones. The only bad thing is that as they are processed through the mail system the machines tend to put some wear and tear on them at times. My dad is an avid and addicted post card collector and got a little peeved at the postal system.
