What swag was given as part of the maiden voyage for any of the previous four ships?

Dream maiden: Commemmorative champagne flutes, replica keel coin, a "Making of the Disney Dream" DVD, each night's dinner menu, the "waving hand on a stick" sailaway sign, a Don "Ducky" Williams lithograph.
Fantasy maiden: Same as above but no DVD.
And of course Maiden Voyage stuff for sale - hats, shirts, hoodies, pins, etc.

They had a special brochure sent electronically prior to the Fantasy cruise also that you could select which items you’d like to purchase. Buyers didn’t find out which items they were actually able to buy until their allotted time slot once onboard - we got everything we wanted.

I thought the OP was asking about the stuff that is given free?

I hope they have a decent selection of "Inaugural Season" merchandise. I've never been on a MV but we were on both the Dream and Fantasy on the inaugural years and got some pins and a few other things

Thank you, all this information is good. I'm just trying to figure out what there is to offer beyond the experience itself.

A inventory dwindles and as prices work their way up, it is getting tougher to decide if it is worth it (if there will be availability when our turn comes). Instead we will have to settle for Inaugural Season merch.

Oh I'm sure they will. That's a $$ opportunity to not be missed by Disney. We were on the Wonder inaugural season and they had posters, shirts, etc. So I'm confident that will be true through most of 2023 for the Wish.

Sort of a tangent thought to this (not directly related to the Wish), I am wondering if the pandemic shutdown will change their strategy of putting the year on all the merchandise. Imagine all the 2020 merchandise that never got sold, and their reluctance to make merchandise with 2021 on it. I'm hoping the Wish stuff all says Inaugural Season, but doesn't say 2022/2023 on it.

I hope that too. And maybe even an Inaugural Christmas Season. I would love to be on the Wish later in 2022.

To add, we sailed toward the end of the Wonder's inaugural season as well. It was in August, 2020 and it launched in 1999. I think they'll have 12 months of stuff unless it sells out crazy fast.

Are the gifts as good as the ones on the DVC Member’s Cruises?
No, you won't need an extra suitcase like you do on the member cruises LOL. They were mostly "commemorative" type things - the keel coin replica, the maiden voyage menu that you got to keep each night, the champagne glass from the sailaway toast, etc. The highlights of the maiden voyages were the special guests & entertainment - Bob Iger, John Lasseter, Lea Salonga, Larry the Cable Guy. And the sailaway from Port Canaveral - the fire boats, helicopters, small planes with their maiden voyage banners & the hundreds of people along the shore cheering and waving their Mickey hands.

For those on the fantasy maiden voyage, when you guys had the online ordering system, did it mention the quantities of each item? What were popular items that sold out right away?

They just sent the email to MV guests for ordering some merchandise and many things have only 1 or 2 quantity limit. The Keel Coin is now a purchased item.

I was on the inaugural western and the inaugural 10 day Christmas cruise (way back in 2002 and 2004).

Free stuff was a custom Ducky Williams lithograph, and plastic champagne flutes.

Isn't the inaugural season only a couple months long? I thought when it was supposed to start in june that they said inaugural season was only through end of like sept or oct.

I received an email this week to request certain Maiden Voyage items- I don't remember everything but there was a metal framed collectible, another print, a tervis, a logo pin, a christmas ornament, some dooney bags. Have to submit the list by May 22.

Regarding email to purchase MV items, does anyone know if Platinum only got the first batch of emails? Lead guests only? I have 2 gold cruisers in my room with me and they didn’t get emails only me (platinum? Thank you

My guess is only the lead guest did - my husband is also platinum and did not get it though I (lead) did.
