Maid Service At Dvc Property

If we rent a DVC property from a member, what type of maid service do we get? Do they provide towels, coffee pot and various amenities? Thanks for any info. We would probably like to stay at BCV.

For stays of 7 nights or less, they come in on day 4 (check-in is day 1) and change the towels, replenish the soaps & coffee and take out the trash. For stays of 8 nights or more, they do a full cleaning on day 4 and a trash & towel on day 8. You have the option of adding full maid service for $25 a day in a studio, $30 in a 1 bedroom, $40 in a 2 bedroom. You don't have to buy it everyday if you choose. I've been a member for 3 years, we always stay 6 nights and don't find it necessary to pay for the extra housekeeping. We get a 1 bedroom so we pop the towels in the washer/dryer in the room. There is a coffee pot in the room. Studios have a mini-fridge, microwave and a toaster (sometimes you have to request). A 1 bedroom has a fully equipped kitchen, jacuzzi, washer/dryer, it's wonderful!!!

Thank you very much for the info. Were do you normally stay
as a member? We are seriously thinking of renting one because we stayed at YC this past August and loved the location and SAB.

We go twice a year. We stay at Old Key West in May and Boardwalk Villas in December. Both have their advantages. OKW has larger rooms (1 bedroom), parking right outside the door, more laid back. BWV has the great location within walking distance of Epcot & MGM (or boat), lots of restaurant choices.
