Question for anyone who has seen the Magic Bands.....are they adjustable to be large enough for really big guys? It's hard for me to imagine a one-size-fits-all band for little 3 year olds to great big adults. I did not see an option for sizing when ordering the bands. Thank you!

All bands issued are the same size.

There is a "tear-off section" that will make the bands much smaller to fit
children's wrists.

I've yet to hear anyone reporting the bands being too short.

Hello!

We had the magic bands. They will fit many sizes. They have an inside part to detach to fit a smaller child. They will fit a very tiny wrist. If I knew how to post a photo I could show you :rotfl:

If DS comes home soon, I will get him to post one :goodvibes

We had to cut off the excess for my nine year old but it seemed like it would adjust to very small.

I just measured the inside circumference on mine at the biggest size (while still having both little nubbies in holes and I got 8.5 inches. Hope that helps!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong since I haven't had the experience of the bands but, they don't actually have to worn on a wrist, do they? Can't you just put them into a pocket if you want?

You could. They are not uncomfortable, and like many have said, putting them on became second nature after just a day.

Just to clarify, the inside part isn't meant only to fit a smaller child. I am a full grown adult and I need to tear the band out in order for it to fit correctly.

DD does also......I am close, but not quite.
DS has very big bones and is a large man and they still fit him. We were worried so we tried one of mine on him.

My friend and I both needed to take the extra grey band off.

It definitely felt weird not wearing the MB when we were leaving WDW!

You can put it in a pocket, but in just a few hours I did not even notice having it on! It was very comfortable and makes everything so easy! I did get annoyed in FP+ lines waiting for people to "find" their bands. They had them in fanny packs, purses, and pockets! IT really held up the line while people were searching.... But you do not have to wear it, but please have it ready! :thumbsup2

Sure.

You could also put it on/around your lanyard if you wear one for pins.

They make lanyards that have extendable clips at the bottom. You pull on the clip and it extends a foot or more. Those make it easy to pull on the band and bring it right to the mickey head reader without you having to remove it or bend over.. If you get one of those, just hook the clip through one of the holes in the band and you're all set.

The inner circumference measures just under 9.5 inches while snapped on last position. It's quite large but I can see it being too small for some.

they are quite comfortable. I recently got a Fitbit Force and its heavier and more chunky than the Magic Bands.

I felt they were uncomfortable along with the rest of my group. I had to keep the Mickey head off to the side since it was pressing on the side of my wrist too hard and made it even more uncomfortable. The way that they were formed make them compress when the mickey head was on the top of your wrist. You get used to it especially if you find the sweet spot for it to sit but anywhere else I felt like throwing the thing away.

Both my husband and my father in law had no problems with them fitting. Both of these men are farmers and if you've met a few farmers you'll understand why that is somewhat impressive. If you haven't then just know that they both have very large, very calloused, very strong hands and arms.
