I thought I heard about people booking bouncebacks and later changing their dates. I may have heard wrong but I thought Disney still honored it.

Yep, the weather looks pretty great for the most part!

I think they will let you change as long as there is still availability.

I had heard this too... all we did was cancel our bounceback, and couldn;t use it for the Jan 2011 trip becuase it was not part of the original offer.

Well, the laundry is done. The house is clean. I got my pedi. The dishwasher is running one last time. All but a few little last minute things are packed.

I am listening to my Aerosmith CD and wondering what song will be playing on my first RNRC ride this trip!!!

The kids will be home in just a little bit and we will try to cram a week's worth of school work into an evening. Both of their math teacher's sent their work home earlier this week, so that's all done. Hopefully the rest won't be too bad.

Hopefully I will get back on here this evening, but I'm just not sure. We really need to get to bed very early. So if I don't make it back, thanks so much for coming along for the ride with me! It has been one long countdown and I'm so glad it's finally here!!! Hopefully I will come back with lots of cool stories and wonderful pictures to share with you all.

Please keep us in your prayers for safe travels. It's supposed to snow here tonight and tomorrow, so I hope we don't get into anything too bad on the way to the airport.

Well...that makes it official!! I am NOT wishing next week would hurry up! I don't want to rush your trip, and I want my family healthy!!! I always get to this point and want to stop time!! I get mixed emotions...glad it's close, but sad that it'll be over tooooo soon!!
Remember what Jo told us to do before we get on the plane so we dont get a migraine!!! I think I am gonna do a sudafed and excedrine...and lots of water,remember!!!!! See you next Sat-you are on the prayer list!!

I was very surprised to see short sleeved Christmas shirts!! I'll probably never have another chance to wear it. It's freezing here and we are only a few days into November.

Nope, I won't be DISing on vacation. I am taking a vacation from the internet!! I don't need any distractions from Disney and my family!

But you know I will be giving a full report when I get back!

I can't believe your long-awaited day is only a few hours away!!!

I know you and your family are going to have a wonderful time! It is a much-deserved vacation. The weather for your first couple of days is what we are getting here right now, so I guess it will be moving through Florida over the weekend. It is beautiful but chilly and very windy! But today my DD and I went for a walk at our camp (she had this past week off) and after only a little while we warmed up. I hope by later in the week it will be swimming weather for y'all! Your weather sounds really ideal!

I didn't really think you would be on the Disboards during your vacation. I never understand why some people spend alot of time on their laptops during their vacation. That just seems like such a waste of time, time better spent with your family. Which I know is super important to you!

So I'm going to say a prayer for your safe travels and hope that you have the time of your life! We'll all be waiting not-so-patiently for your TR when you get home. Maybe Jo and I will keep your PTR going with some football talk. Neither one of us has much good to talk about these days, though.......

Oh, BTW, I am Dis'ing on my new laptop! I'm a little slow since I don't really like this mouse thing, but the laptop is so much faster than my desktop dinosaur!

Gators took care of business today! I'm watching a painful game right now. In fact, so painful I had to take a break! We need a major overhaul after this season.

She texted about an hour ago. She said that when they got there the room wasn't ready and once they got in, there was no balcony. (The one thing she wanted the most!) Don't know if they asked to be moved or not.

They went to Epcot and it was super crowded-- no FP's for Soarin by noon.

Also- the worst--- her DH and youngest son are not feeling well.

She's hoping tomorrow will be better once they get some sleep.


I'll give you guys updates as I hear from her.

Oh I would have asked if one with a balcony was available, I sure hope Shelly was able to get one. Hopefully DH and DS will be better by tomorrow, I bet a lot of people were doing Epcot during the day and MK tonight since it has EMH. Thanks for the update, I thought about them a few times today and wondered what they were up to.

Thanks for the update, Jo. I'm sorry they are starting off on a rough note, but I feel sure things will be fine once they get settled and get some rest. Is a balcony just luck of the draw? Or is it a room category like water-view? I'm happy they are staying for a week+ so they can take things a little slow, especially when they're not feeling so great. And hopefully it's crowded because it's a Saturday and will taper off by Monday.

About that game....Thanks! What a tale of two halves! I have to admit, in those last few minutes, when we were up by 3, I went and started cleaning my bathroom. I told my DH, "My heart is in my chest! Oh wait, that's where it's supposed to be!" Whew! The SEC is Who is next for y'all?

I don't know about the balcony request at BWI- I just know that we had talked at length about how bad it would be if she didn't get a balcony. It's the ONE thing I know she wanted and was stressed about.

Sheila-- I'm hoping things will be better for them once they get some sleep. Her youngest was feeling bad last weekend, but I don't know if it's the same thing or not. I know they got up super early so hopefully after they get some sleep things will be better.
Is it the last weekend of F&W fest ?? Maybe that was why Epcot was crowded.

I'm sure she'll text or call tomorrow with an update. Hopefully it will be a good one.


Teri------ you're like me- my house is never as clean as when I'm stressed or angry. I enjoyed your game- but I know if it had've been FL like that it would've been nerve wracking.
We play USC next week- night game at the Swamp , playing to see who goes to the SECCG!!!
