Yay shopping!
I like shopping talk almost as much as food talk!
How many pairs of shoes do I take? Way too many- but usually one pair of crocs, (no tennis shoes), flip flops in the summer to match each dress or outfit and a few pairs of dressy shoes. Too many.
You have a lot of pressed pennies! That's so much fun! Kids love those things.
Your disney jewelry--- your son- so sweet.
I got a MM head necklace of Swarovski crystals on a silver chain in May. That's all the WDW jewelry I have. I love it though. Disney jewelry is good to have.
Yay!! This is getting exciting.![]()

You can't stop the 'Naners once they've started.....

Last summer I took three...maybe four. I can't remember.
For my honeymoon it was probably more, because I got to check a bag.

I. am. speechless.
Disney Jewelry eh? I have over the years bought numerous watches while at Disney but they have all been put away the batteries no longer working so no longer in use
Hmm I wasn't done but it posted so will have to continue next post now LOL
So anyhow, I have a bracelet I bought in Italy made of venetin glass beads, I may have worn it once and I bought a cute pair of 14K gold earrings one was Mickey and one was Minnie which I did wear during vacaton, but have since gave them to this lil girl I use to babysit when she got her ears pierced
Shoes I only ever take a pair of sneakers and then a pair of slip ons, this year will most likely be my crocs and sneakers. We never do signature dinners so we don't get all dressed up and especially now that I am older I go for comfort not looks when it comes to shoes at Disney.
I wear my sneakers on the plane down, plus I bring two pairs of flip-flops (one chunky-heeled and one flat pair) and one pair of dressy open-toe shoes for our nicer dinner reservations. So that is a total of four pair!
Q.) What happens when you are so far behind that it takes you forever to catch up and type out a reply?
A.) You accidentally, unexplicably, somehow lose it!!!
So I'll try again.![]()
I love the way the CBR food court looks! It is so bright and colorful, not to mention the food looks yummy. We only had breakfast and snacks at the POFQ and POR food courts, so I can't comment on the food, but POR does seem to have a very good selection.
I don't blame you for not buying the DDP this year. 10 years old is way to young to be considered an adult on the DDP, even for non-picky eaters. How much can a child that age eat, anyway?I think you have a great idea with using the Disney GC's for meals. It really is like pre-paying, which was the main reason we did the DDP in the first place - not having to pull out cash and deal with that.
Your list of ADR's and CS possiblities looks great. And the new CS place in Germany looks to die for! Have you already checked out the menu at SAI and seen things that your family would like?
Your Disney jewelry is so cute, and it is so sweet that your boys gave it to you. And even more special that you save it to only wear at Disney. As for shoes, I think I usually have only brought a couple of pairs - tennis shoes and either flip flops or sandals. I overpack more on the clothes!
24 DAYS!!!:
Sorry, not as creative as the dancing bananas.![]()
I love all the t-shirts! Especially the new one on the doorknob...super cool!!! As far as shoes...I am sooo practical!! I just bring my tennis shoes and my comfy crocs!! We don't do signature dinners, and I don't change outfits during the day just for meals...I am totally going for comfort on vacation!!!! LOL...Kids too...tennis shoes and crocs....thats what they wear at home, so I know they will be comfortable there!!
Oh...looooove your Disney jewelry!!! I have a Mickey Mouse watch I got like in 9th grade for a bday...it's cute, but it's really small...I am saving it for whatever..maybe my dd will want it when she's a bit older.
