Just interested to know, who exactly gets magicbands? Is it only resort guests? Do you now get that in the mail after ordering park tickets or at the ticket booths?

For now it's just resort guests. Guests living in the US get them mailed but international travelers get them when they check-in.

Right now only Walt Disney World resort guests get them.

In addition, a few Annual Passholders who haven't stayed at resorts have gotten them as part of testing.
Disney has said that all Annual Passholders will eventually get them, but they haven't announced a rollout schedule for that.

For offsite guests, the common consensus is that there may come a time when they can purchase a MagicBand if they want, but that is just a rumor for now.
