We last visited WDW during Hurricane Charley Aug '04. We had received a little slip of paper that said that we could have our tickets reissued if the parks closed. Guests were to take paper to resort front desk and they would help.

Well, the parks closed and we went to front desk, but no one knew what to do with the tickets. Needless to say, it was pretty frantic in Orlando.

So.... we just added the paper and tickets to our memory albums as a pretty souvenir.

 Today it came to mind. I called WDW ticket services--they looked up my info that was on the tickets and you know the rest....

One day park hopper passes for the next time we visit--just show them the paper and tickets.:cool1:

So now we will visit Universal and WDW on our Christmas vaca.:cloud9:

sweet!! shame about the hurricane though :(

even sweeter when I just looked up the prices for 4 one day park hopper passes--$464

Unbelievable and we still had fun during the hurricane

We went to Epcot and because most of those who were not staying on property went home or were told to evacuate, the lines were next to nothing.

We rode tons of rides--Mission Space 5x in a row. The parks closed around 2 p.m. so we packed what would have taken all day into a few hours.

Thank heavens for dramamine or else

:yay:  :cool1:

That's great news.

We were at WDW during Hurricane Charley too. We're AP holders so the tickets didn't effect us.
