Today was going to be a fun one!
I had planned on this for soooo long.
DD had dreamed of it her
WHOLE life!
I stood by the phone on the exact day to get the coveted Cindy's breakfast ADR. I hit redial several times, pushed the appropriate buttons, got through, and nabbed our breakfast reservations with the princesses! I did it, and all was set!
DD is a big fan of Cinderella and all that goes along with her! The Fairy Godmother, Jack-Jack, Gus, even the cat Lucifer! So I knew that she would be in heaven today!
We woke up early, and got DD ready!
We hopped on the bus for Magic Kingdom and were on our way!
We had early morning ADRs! This meant that we will see the park at its full glory, with nary a soul in sight! I see this as a great photo op. DW sees this as getting up too early!
We get to the entrance and notice some people standing around waiting for the opening ceremony, we had ADR's and were let right in!
Magic Kingdom seemed so quiet! It was almost surreal. Everything seemed so clean, so new, I was in awe!
We arrive at the castle give them our name and were led in!
We were told to wait in line for our photos with Cindy, and then we would be called up to our table when it was ready.
DD squealed with delight as she saw Cinderella, and promptly ran up to her and gave her a big hug!
We took the royal staircase up to the dining area! DD was promptly given a princess wand and a wishing star! (I see now that the wands have changed since we went! I could see how these wands, although prettier than the new ones, would not be as safe around the really young children.)
We were visited by Alice:
The Fairy Godmother:
Belle:
and Snow White:
DD
and DW were having a ball! If truth be told, DW would love to be a princess when she grows up!
The wishing ceremony was done and all the girls waved their wands and the lights magically twinkled above. It was so nice!
DD received her birthday cupcake and made a wish!
I really don't know what else she could wish for. She already said that all her dreams had come true!
