Hi, does anyone know if you book the Fireworks cruise, do you have to have a credit card, or can you send them the money? I thought I read in the Birnbaum guide that you can mail a check to them if you don't have a credit card....Anyone??? Thanks in advance!!

When I booked mine today, they required a credit card, but I didn't ask them what to do if one wasn't available. Sorry.

We will be going on this on Father's Day and when I booked, they just added it to everyone in my groups reservation and I paid my balance in full by check. I was surprised that I could add to everyone in my grand gathering's reservation, but it was nice because I didn't have to fork out the money for everyone. pirate: I am so excited to see Peter Pan!!!!

It depends on wether or not you are doing a package or room only reservation. We had 33 people in our Grand Gathering, each family had a different scenario. We had an AP room only reservation, so we had to pay by credit card when I booked. Most of the other family members had various packages and they were able to add the Grand Gathering events to their package and pay at a later date. We really had a great experience with the events and the Magical Fireworks Voyage was everyone's favorite!

Just call and ask. I must have called the GG people and DVC about 5 times before I finally booked the trip. They were very helpful. When I booked the cruise for our group, she told me that the balance would have to be paid 45 days prior to the trip, and that everyone could send their payments in separately. I put it all on my MIL CC :teeth: and paid in full right their. However, when I called last week to add my MIL's boyfriend, I had to pay for him when I made the reservation.

There seems to be many answers as per usual with Disney. I really recommend calling, but call in the afternoon or evening when there won't be such a high call volume.

Can someone tell me how many days in advance you can book this and what days of the week does it run. Thanks !!! :sunny:

Book it 90 days out. The cruises are on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

Thanks for the information. I hope that I can get this. Did anyone have any trouble because it was booked up?

for our GG but they called me back and said they had added extra boats or nights can not remember which(this was March 2004) and then the night of our cruise it rained and they gave us all Mickey raincoats and we went out anyway....it was spectacular!

If you can DO IT!!!!!
