Me – 34 – always loved Disney!
Dh – 33 – not really bothered (at least he never says if he is!)
Ds1 – 4 – loves Minnie mouse and Cinderella!
Ds2 – 2 – doesn’t talk so have no idea what he likes!!

Sunday 8th
Right…. Well, we thought it would be a good plan to get the early tunnel so that kids could be asleep when we put them in the car, and they wake when we get to the tunnel…. What actually happened was…..

We put boys to bed usual time, and then we got everythin sorted, and went to bed ourselves – I know I couldn’t sleep at all!!! Woke up at 3am, got ready, loaded car, and went to collect sleeping boys – ha – Cayden (ds2) was awake, so he got loaded into the car awake, hopin hed go back to sleep, got Finlay (ds1) who was asleep, but by the time he was in the car – he was awake too!! No worries, we thought theyd go back to sleep whilst on the 3 ½ hr journey to Folkestone…… NO!! they were awake the whole time, so got to Folkestone and got them changed and waited for our train. All went ok. And then we arrived in Calais!!
We had trusty tomtom to get us to DLRP and so off we set. Journey was fine, no problems, except we had hoped that fuel wud be cheaper than uk, but no difference really. So, we travelled along, with a couple of toilet stops and found the Hotel Cheyanne nice n easily (thanks tomtom). Loved driving into the complex and seeing all the hotels, and loved the first view of the mickey ears on the water tower!!
Got parked up, and went to check in….. a bit of a queue, but all moved smoothly.

Hotel looked great, and def as great themed as Id hoped :o) We got our tickets, and I asked about good morning fantasyland breakfast, but was only offered the Tuesday – which was fine. Got an early ticket for the next morning, and slightly later one for our last breakfast on the Wednesday.
Found our room – in Annie Oakley (1603) and brought in all our stuff. Room was nice and clean, and beds fine – although a little hard for me (and feather pillows!) So, all that done….. it was park time!!!!!!!!!!!
Got on the bus – no problem, and it was a couple of minutes drive to the park. DS2 couldn’t wait to go, and kinda danced/skipped all the way to the park!! So off we walked, and I looked forward to that first site of Disneyland Hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!

(ok, this was taken on tuesday when there was no crowds - but u get the idea lol)
We didn’t do much really, first stop was caseys for a hotdog – yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, then we just walked around and worked out where everything was, and enjoyed the character express

Finlay was loving the tune, and starting with the actions by the end of the holiday! Cayden loves trains, so he was especially pleased!!
We checked out Alices Maze,

and did a lap of the park on the train, where we got a glimps of Minnie mouse in frontierland!!!

Remembered the tip about the parade and the princess float, so made our way to bella notte to watch (sat opposite) and it was a good spot – Aladdin & jasmine came right up to us, and Cinderella gave us a wave – made Finlays day!!! Definitely a good spot to watch from!! We were intending to stay for candelabration, but we were all soooooo tired, so headed back to hote!!! Just chilled out in the room, and got ready for another early start, as I wanted to be in the park for 8am to get on all the rides with the boys!!! Roll on day 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
