Can I use DME if I fly into MCO on a Friday, stay overnight at the Hyatt, then want to transfer to BCV on Saturday am? I'm thinking it should work fine but am not sure. Anyone done this?

Yes, but when you make your DME reservation, give them the info regarding your flight as if you were arriving the following day. Just find a flight that arrives in MCO about the same time you will be ready to go to WDW. Then, obviously, do not ues the yellow luggage tags they send you since you will already have your bags with you. You can just bring them to the DME desk and have them put under the bus.
