Magical Express with resort movement?

I was wondering can you take the Disney Magical Express if you are planning to move from resorts? For example, we are planning to stay for 5 days in the All Star Value Resort and then we are moving to DVC for 10 days. Can we do it?

OK! Well we are doing the same thing! We are staying at ASMU and moving to OKW so the resorts will transfer your luggage from resort to resort but it is upto you to get to the actual resort! So since we are closest to DTD we will take the resort bus to DTD then we will get the OKW bus from DTD! You can do something like that! I don't know about magical express I would opt to say no since it is for arrivals and departures! Hope this helps! Which DVC will you be staying at?

I can't believe it!! We are doing the same movement. We will stay at the ASMo for 5 days and then moving to OKW too. I didn't thought of the movement between resorts , I was thinking only about the airport, but now that you mentioned it that's so great to know. Thanks!

THATS TO FUNNY! WE DID THIS LAST TIME WE WENT ONLY WE WENT FROMSSR TO BCV THE LAST TIME! I WANTED TO TRY A VALUE RESORT FOR AWHILE NOW SO WE ARE THEN WE WILL MEET UP WITH FAMILY AT OKW!

DME has no trouble dropping you at one resort and picking you up at another. Just be sure they know this when you book.
What we have done when changing resorts mid-stay is this....we call Bell Services early in the morning and have our luggage taken away for shipment to the next resort. Be aware though...this is not a quick thing. It can take until late afternoon (5 or so) for your bags to get to the new resort. So, take what you may need for the day with you. Then, we eat breakfast and head to a park for a few hours. Then, we head to the new resort around lunchtime and check in. Sometimes we are able to get into a room. If we are staying DVC, then most likely we have to wait until later in the day to get our villa. But, we can swim or eat lunch or just head to a different park. But, we have checked in, gotten the phone number to call to see if our room is ready.
Then, later on the bags will be delivered to the room. It's really quite easy as long as you understand that your bags will be delayed.
Then, the day before you leave, you may want to doublecheck at the front desk that they have you listed for DME back to the airport.

It's not that bad after all, because the last time we went, we moved from an outside hotel to DVC and all that change took us morning and afternoon, so we went to the parks only at night that day. It will be nice to have a chance of going to the parks during the day.
