We are going to be driving up from southern florida I have a conference in Bonita Springs. We will have the rental car during our stay but I was wondering if I could sign up for magical express for our return home so they can check us in and take our bags but then drive in the rental car so we have a little more time that day in parks. Also how close do they look at the dates on parking passes. The first three days we are staying at BLT but the last night we have to move to AKL Kidani unless my waitlist comes through. We are having breakfast in the castle the day we leave and I was hoping to park there and walk over instead of dealing with TTC.

What you're talking about is RAC (resort airline check-in), not Magical Express. You don't have to use Magical Express to use RAC. Just think of it as curbside check-in, except the curb is at your resort.

So do you sign up ahead for that

They look closely at parking permits, especially at the Monorail resorts, and especially at busy times.

Nope, no need to sign up in advance, just show up at the desk sometime after 5 a.m. (not sure of their closing time).

RAC closes at 1:00 p.m

Don't worry if your flight is after 1:00 p.m you can sill use RAC just make sure you give them you luggage before they close. I would suggest being there no later than 12:30 in case there is a line at the check in desk. Just my opinion!

Also in order to use RAC you have to check in at their desk no later than 3 hours prior to your flight time! So for example if your flight is at 9:00 a.m you have to be down at the RAC counter before 6:00 a.m.( I would get there at 5:30 or 5:45) with your luggage. And if you have a flight that is 7:30 a.m or earlier you can not use RAC does not open till 5:00 a.m.

Make sure to have your airline confirmation number and photo ID with you. In most cases you don't need the confirmation number but I had a time when they had trouble looking up my reservation and thankfully I had the confirmation number.

If you are not staying at BLT the day you plan to park and walk to MK its a NO NO! The guard will stop you and verify your resort parking pass. They are very strick about the parking at BTL because folks such as yourself want to park there and walk to MK which takes up the parking spaces for those who are actually staying there. So you might as well save yourself the hassle and just park at the TTC.

We are flying Southwest and there are no assigned seats it is kind of first come first served on checkin, so should I go ahead and check in online the day before and don't print my boarding passes and they can print them for me that morning. We fly out about 2:30. Also considering we have a CRT breakfast at 9:05 how long will it take me from Kidani to TTC and then to the castle. Should we use ferry or monorail at TTC

Check in for your flight at the 24 hour mark. You can print your boarding passes at the airport or ask guest services to do it for you.

Or, if using RAC as the original post suggest they can print your BPs too. But definitely check yourselves in at the 24-hour mark or purchase EBCI to have it done automatically 36 hours before the flight.
