Okay, I took the ME for the first time the last time I went to WDW (1/06) but I don't remember much about it. My friend took care of everything... we just followed her.

I got my ME packet and have put mt tags on my suitcase (we leave in 4 days and I've been slowly packing my suitcases for a week already!) and I've got my vouchers in my carry on, etc. Once I get off my plane (Ted/United), where do I go? What will the process be like? How long before we are on a bus and at our resort (ASMo)?

Gee, do I ask alot of questions? :rotfl:

Thanks guys!

When you get off the plane, you'll head for Side A of the airport, and head all the way down to the bottome, Level 1. You arrive on Level 3, baggage claim is Level 2. When you get to Level 1, look for the DME welcome desk. It should take about 70 minutes total to get from your plane to your resort. You will checkin at the desk, then head to your particular bus line..someone will be sure you're in the right line! Hop on the bus, and relax. Have a great trip.

Your ME booklet also gives you detailed directions on where to go and what to do......

DUDS is correct because depending on when you go Sat or Sun the switch will be in place .

We are arriving late OCT and have to go to the B side .

The directions are on the inside front cover and are very detailed to what to do on the 1st and 2nd page.

Have a great trip.

You guys are absolutely right. I figured that if OP was leaving in 3-4 days, she would still be on the A Side. But, for those of you arriving after Oct 3, you will go to Side B. And yes, the packet does give really terrific instructions. I was surprised when I got mine and they directions were so concise...very helpful. Much better than they used to be.

Well, I have something extra to add about how long it takes to get from the airport to the resort. We were the ONLY ones going to CR, so the ME bus sat around for a long time waiting for other passengers. No one else was going to the CR, but we had passengers at like 4 other resorts. So, even though there was a long line at the ME check-in desk (took like 20 minutes just to check-in), we still had to wait for over 1/2 hour just to get 3 other families on the bus. It seemed everyone was staying at a value resort. Those buses filled up and took off right away.

Since it's a slow season, I thought I would share this.
