Magical Express Question

We bought our tickets from United Airlines, but technically we will be flying on a USAir airplane. I guess they have some type of partnership. On the bottom of our itinerary it says check-in at USAir counter. This is fine for our flight to WDW, but what about on our return. Will we be able to check-in for our flight at our resort since United is one of the participating airlines or will we need to check-in at the USAir counter at MCO? Anyone have experience with this?

Much thanks! ::MinnieMo

I would say, carry your bags to the Magical Express bus going home. (You may need to leave them with the bellhop if there is time to enjoy the parks between room check out and leaving.

The concierge may be able to print your boarding passes if he is not too busy with other tasks.

Since your ticket says check in at USAir's counter, you are using USAir's check in and baggage handling and as far as I know, ME going home does not include bringing baggage from the resort to there.

Does your ticket receipt or on line itinerary show the flight number prefixed by "US" instead of "UA"? If the flight number is a USAir flight number, that is not a code share but instead is a perfectly good cross booking on a different airline which from your point of view is no different except for checking in at a different counter.

It says "United Flight # 2141 operated by US Airways please check-in with US Airways. If checking in at US Airways kiosk, please use name rather than confirmation number."

I guess we will need to put our bags in the bottom of the ME and check-in at the airport. Does that sound right to you?

Thanks! ::MinnieMo
