Magical express question

Our party of 6 is staying at All Star Music after our cruise, and are tentatively scheduled to take the magical express back to MCO.

I know this is a free service, so now I am wondering if this is direct transportation from All Star Music to the airport, or if we will be going to various hotels. I have a 7 month old and a 2 year old, so i'm trying to make our travel as efficient as possible.

TIA!

Some trips are direct and some make other stops. The order also varies. But it's not like they stop at every resort. I don't think I've ever had to stop at more than 3 resorts. Just my personal experience, doesn't mean that it hasn't/doesn't happen.

Also realize that most trips are scheduled for 3-4 hours before flight time. And it can take awhile at the airport to get through security depending on what time you're trying to do so.

Good Luck!

:drive:I took the magical express from the airport and we stopped at 4 or 5 hotels. It just depends on the trip on how many times you stop. I think for it being free you should go with it. They play a movie to keep your mind off the ride.

From Pop Century to the airport will most likely be a nonstop ride - since Pop is the closest resort to 417 and the airport. Not close, just closest :).

Tip: please don't try to second-guess your Magical Express pickup time and reschedule it or 'accidentally' miss your assigned bus. Be waiting with your entire party and any carry-on luggage (checked luggage, too, if you couldn't use RAC) fifteen minutes before your assigned time.

I just want to point out that there is no Pop Music resort. There is the Pop Century resort and there is the All Star Music resort, but they are two totally different resorts in two totally different locations. I would hate for there to be any confusion.

You are right - it is all star music! Sorry about that.

I believe the ME resort list varies by demand, but think that typically the All-Star route goes to all three of them. Not sure about the order; I only stayed @ ASMusic once in 2008... I know the MK Deluxe loop often includes WL/VWL, Poly, GF, & CR. However, I forget the exact order at the moment! :guilty:

I agree w/ PP to just be there when ME says you should be; generally it is around 3 hours before a domestic flight departure or 4 hours prior to an international one IIRC.

Have fun!

Even if you have to make a couple of stops, I've made them with a 9, 7 and infant and it really isn't that long or a big deal.

I just used ME for the first time around Christmas and I loved not having to worry about anything. We were staying at OKW and they stopped at SSR before heading to the resort. I'm sure there were other places before OKW because there were people on the bus when we got on.
